My review comes down to a few factors
1 price - i pay 25 at my regular barber and here i paid 45 for a fade it was ridiculous !!!!
2 i got a haircut i didnt ask for - ive been trying to grow out my top half of my sides for a while in which i said i want a low bald fade but keep the top bulk obove my temple the way it is, i end up getting the bald shave under a cm of my temple in which i knew he wasnt going to be able to turn back now so ended up with a 0-2 on the sides.
3 if you cant use lever clippers dont call yourself a barber shop - im not sure the guy who cut my hair was having a stressful day but if you cant cut the way the client asks give the client to someone else, my regular barber would of smashed out my cut plus my beard in under 30mins, i was in the chair for 1hr with the barber trying to flick cut out imperfections. I swear he changed attatchments 20 times.
4 i wont go back - the atmosphere was pretty cool being able to watch nfl and get offered coffee is a nice touch but ill save $20 and go to dog house barber in frankston (my cut will stay clean for an extra week aswell) was not the best experience but i must admit im very fussy when it comes to my hair.
as i cant reply to your feedback which is appreciated i have a few queries ...
i never said it was a bad haircut at all, i didn't get what i asked for in which the barber knew, i specifically asked for the top half of the sides not to be touched and because he figured out he couldn't fix it i was given a 0-2 on the sides.
i do apologise about commenting on the lever clippers as i was a bit aggitated at the fact i didnt get the haircut i asked for. but in saying that the service i got was inadequate i know my hair grows in different directions so why didnt he give my hair a quick spray and comb to make his cut easier ?
i have read other clients feedback and i think its true that the workers are put under a bit of pressure to finish haircuts quickly (from what i saw) also showing clients their mistakes on a re-do haircut is absolutely not called for i felt sorry for him i have never seen that happen ever ?

   Read moreI hadn't had a cut in over 1.5yr, so at first I was kinda intimidated. The lady at the counter was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I was after a specific cut and she was able to pair me with a barber who could accommodate me. I was struck cause no barber I've been to does that. Normally you just go to one who is available. I was very impressed!
I was told the barber was the owner (lucky me) and he was very thoughtful and thorough, advising me on what he was gonna do. He met my every need, which is all you really want from a barber. I also got to witness him as a leader, giving his team tips and advice. To me it's a big deal because, it shows dedication and care to your job, which means they care about the customer, not trying to smash out lots of customers to earn profits.
I like how they don't take appointments. Customers waiting should be a priority and appointments kinda cut the line. They also offer coffee which is really good if it gets busy and you gotta wait

   Read moreHidden in a rear laneway of Berwick, I was shocked to find this Barber so busy. Attended to have a first hair cut for my little one. Had never attended before but had heard good reviews via word of mouth.
The wait was pretty long to get into the barbers seat approximately 40mins. This was with about 7 workers cutting hair. That's how busy it was.
We were seen to by Megan. She was lovely. She did a great job despite the little one full crying and screaming. She managed to still do a great job. Would happily have her again.
Another staff member knew it was a first haircut, and had prepared an envelope with the date and a business card attached so that some of the locks could be kept.
The service was great. You can order food and coffee on site while you wait.
