The range of ready-made meals, to raw meats, is wonderful. Don't want to cook dinner? Buy one of their delicious, chunky family beef pies. Planning a slow-cook casserole? Pick up the meat here, along with one of the many great rub mixes. A personal favourite for our family are the salt and pepper chicken tenderloins which crisp up perfectly in a shallow fry. The diced bacon also comes in handy for adding to pastas. Sure, the meat here costs a bit more than most butchers but it's worth it. Read moreIt is difficult to find a good butcher with high quality meat. I think I found the jackpot. I bought the lamb sausages and scotch fillet. When I barbequed the Sausages there was no fat and they didn't shrink as a lot of Sausages do. The flavour was amazing and very filling. Then the steak. I cooked the steak to medium rare and it melted in the mouth. I don't think I have had steak that good. The knife cut through it like butter. I have only been twice, the staff have been very helpful and polite. I hope as I continue to shop there, the quality of the meat...

The house cured ham and bacon is seriously amazing - it is mind boggling how good this stuff is compared to the usual shaved ham you'd buy at the supermarket deli. Next level. The roast pork is also divine. Great selection of meats and artisan chutneys, cheeses and other small goods. Lovely friendly staff. My only regret is not finding this place sooner... It's a weekly shop...
