McDonald's — Restaurant in Melbourne

Second visit: still a 3star review Coffee and a hot apple pie for a quick break, mid afternoon weekday, quiet store. Prompt service, coffee was only Ok, made "around the corner" out of sight, in the Drive Thru Area. One of the main reasons I'm a regular at Macca's is the Barista coffee, made in front of you by an actual person, generally demonstrating some level of skill! For a Café experience!

Australian McDonalds was the pioneer, the worlds FIRST McDonalds, at the Victoria Market Store Cafe experiment around 30 years ago and was an instant hit. Then served "Shick horror!" in actual, real cups and saucers, only paper if take away. Don't stuff it up McDonalds! Don't get lazy! Your coffee is not THAT cheap and there's plenty of competition. This is not the only store doing this over the last few months. It seems to be becoming general policy when stores are quieter, but I have had it happen at busy stores as well. Hot Apple Pie was Lukewarm.

First visit: *3star review Fairly empty restaurant, around 5:30pm on a weekday. I got served quickly and was told my order would be delivered to my table. After over 10 minutes, I went to enquire and turned out my meal was sitting on the counter and had been for some time. Bit disappointing as a freshly cooked burger and chips is always tastier. I recently visited McDonald's located on Warrigal Rd in Oakleigh South, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The fast-food chain consistently delivers a top-notch experience, and this visit was no exception.

The service at McDonald's was efficient and friendly, with the staff ensuring that my order was accurate and promptly prepared. The cleanliness of the establishment was also commendable, maintaining a tidy and inviting environment for customers.

As for the food, McDonald's never disappoints. The menu offers a wide range of options, from classic favorites to new and exciting items. During my visit, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which was prepared to perfection. The quality and taste were exceptional, meeting the high standards I have come to expect from McDonald's.

❌️ +20min long wait for food ❌️ incorrect order ❌️ cold food served - with exception of fresh fries. My dine in experience was lacklustre. We waited over 20 minutes for our order. The hold up? All the fries we given priority to drive-through customers, while our meal waited on the bench getting cold. As the wait became ridiculous with every customer after us receiving their orders, I spoke with the team to learn there was a wait on fries. It didn't make sense when I kept seeing fries getting filled and packed into takeaway bags for drive through. To add further disappointment to our cold meal, my Big Mac did not have any extra sauce. Even the burger box had a large sticker with "extra sauce" on it. The standard amount of sauce isn't even enough to glue the lettuce to the bun - serves more of garnish. On top of the long wait, had to wait again to speak to an avaliable team member, wait for my burger to be assessed and re-made. The restruant was dirty with rubbish on tables.
