Mezbaan Dine in — Restaurant in Melbourne

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tonight was a joke dining at Mezbaan. Our food took so long to be delivered to our table. The way the waitress left the food on the table was utterly rude and to top it all off yet again my order was incorrect. The same staff member takes our order every time and every single time she will stuff it up.( the short female staff member that wears specs). I never came here for customer service as there is none, but I came for food but tonight schezwan noodles tasted nothing like schezwan and the level of salt was unbearable. We said no raw onions or green onions as we have allergy. But the definition of allergy is never taken seriously at this restaurant. Our dish comes to our table garnished with spring onions. When I advised the staff member again, she takes the dish back, removes whatever spring onion she can and brings it back to our table. This is damn appalling. Are you serious???? Being Pakistani i was very excited to find an local Pakistani indian resturant. But was very disappointed in overall food taste. Like two other have mentioned in the Peshawari karahi is not authentic or of taste according to pakistani style. It was full of bad bone meat with (checkre)white fat which u give ur cat or dog as its not for humans. You can also taste the can of tomatoes. Not sure who made it knows what actual Peshawari/pakistani taste is but places like coyla and night spark are more authentic. I also found drink prices over priced a glass of drink was $7 which was plain soft drink(lemon lime bitters) not a mocktail or anything.Usually can is max $4 most resturant. Otherwise resturant is nice looking staff were easy to deal with. As its a new bussiness i hope their taste improves for other diners. Overall bill was reasonable. Overall 10/10; In detail: Pros: We really liked the ambience and food in the restaurant when we visited for the first time. It's our go to place now. Best family hangout for mental peace and relaxation with the helping staff and tasty food. we ordered seafood, chicken boneless dum biryani , Paneer 65 and chilli paneer. Everything is great other than sea food. in the western suburbs (Tarneit, truganina, hoppers, werribee etc) , you won't get to see a nice restaurant other than this with great food and ambience. This is the only one meets both of them. Staff was humble and are open for feedbacks.
