MG Souvlaki Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unplanned stop in after-work around 730pm. Super tired and boarder line @ hangry. Souvlaki definitely hit the spot the flavours are amazing and the meat tender. The salads were all fresh and crisp as they should be. The tzitzki creamy with the right amount of punch. I have previous experience with another store a few years back so it was great to have a chilled convo and reminiscent on the good and the bad of working in hospitality while waiting for my food. The set up of the store is great and very clean. The patio dining will be a hit over the summer as the days get longer and our summer nights are warmer, as for the location you can't fault. The atmosphere was paired with traditional Greek music playing in the background. You guys will do amazing here. Just keep your high standards where they are now and brace for the influx...

Tried this place last weekend.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was.

We got two meat and salads. My favourite was the seafood and meat.

The lamb was the softest meat that I have had in a long time and way better than the meat at two Rye souvlaki places I normally go to.

The meat also didn't contain a lot of fatty bits that was was also good.

The giros were also very good. The bread wrap was very soft and the sauce was tasty.

Finally the chips cooked perfectly and crispy.

Will definitely go again, now that I know about this place, even though I am closer to the two Rye...

Everything about this place was amazing! The second I walked in I was greeted with a smile, and could instantly tell this was a positive atmosphere. I enjoyed waiting for my food, felt comfortable and the staff were happy to have a conversation with me. I ordered 2 HSPs to takeaway and they were THE BEST HSPs I have ever had in my life. Proper meat, not shy with toppings and overall just delicious in flavor. I’m glad I tried this new place, will definitely be back! Thanks again guys, keep up the great work...
