Sound Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

My friend and I went to sound bar tonight (Wednesday), as expected we were id at the door and then we walked to the bar and ordered 2 vodka redbulls. The guy working there asked to see our ids again, he checks them and then goes to get his coworker to which she gives him a blue light to see if our ids were real. They check it for a minute then hand it back to us and then we order our drinks and receive them except when we tasted them, there was either no vodka or hardly any at least, I’m unsure what SOUNDBARS standard of shot is but it tasted like there was nothing in there, we are 95% sure that there was no vodka in the vodka redbulls in which we paid for, we didn’t watch the guy making our drink to be able to see but because we had just been id twice it felt almost as if he didn’t believe we are of age, to which we are… and didn’t feel comfortable enough to serve us alcohol so he just gave us a redbull instead, if for some reason that is the case that he should have just told us he didn’t feel comfortable serving us alcohol and we would have left, I am disappointed that we had to pay for a price for a drink that didn’t have any alcohol in it, alongside this we were quite humiliated having to leave so abruptly as we didn’t feel welcomed by the other staff members. P.s. However the bouncer tonight was really nice and welcoming so...

Went for dinner, new menu had started which we were a bit disappointed at first as it was basically all Burger's, Nachos, loaded chips, 1 main meal of chicken Parma, we rolled with it and the burgers were delicious! We all had different ones and none disappointed. My son had the Parma and loved it! However I'd suggest putting a couple more main meals on the menu, ie; fish & chips, ribs maybe? just a couple more to choose from. There was one group of 8 ladies that sat down but ended up walking out for that reason.. It is as suggested a BAR style place so expect it to have the local yocals around and is a bit rough around the edges. If your looking for a casual place not a restaurant this is fine. Staff were friendly, quiet relaxed, so 3 out...

For a smal'ishl room/stage....very cosy indeed its area with gorgeous settings and a magic outside seating & standing area which remains constantly busy with ears open ...tapping feet along with smiling chit chat people meeting one enougher in laughter and great time living experiences...totally Awesome 👌 for all ages musics lovers and listeners enjoying them selves making every thing a memorable experience.. Food I's the greatest of flavours from snaks to full diner meals/ Deserts...full bar great prices...along with fair prices and Tea/coffee for those designated drivers...basically excellent 5...
