Exceptional Cafe and Wine Bar Experience - 5 Stars!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Miss Lacey Cafe and Wine Bar, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that immediately put me at ease. This establishment truly deserves a resounding 5-star rating.

Let's start with the selection of beverages. As a wine enthusiast, I was delighted to find an extensive and well-curated wine list. The staff's knowledge and passion for wine were evident as they guided me through the choices, ensuring I found the perfect glass to complement my meal. The baristas were equally skilled, crafting expertly brewed coffees and specialty drinks that were rich in flavor and beautifully presented.

Moving on to the culinary offerings, the menu showcased a delightful array of dishes. From delectable breakfast options to satisfying lunch plates, there was something to please every palate. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were thoughtfully prepared with a creative twist. Each bite was a delightful symphony of flavors that left me wanting more.

The attention to detail in the presentation of both the food and beverages was impeccable. Every dish was a work of art, beautifully plated and garnished. The cafe's cozy atmosphere, with its comfortable seating and tasteful decor, created the perfect setting to enjoy the culinary delights.

The staff at this cafe and wine bar deserves special mention. They were attentive, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. Their passion for their craft was evident in every interaction, and they went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional. The level of service I received truly made me feel like a valued guest.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Miss Lacey Cafe and Wine bar to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. Fantastic food and excellent coffee - great spot for a sit down breakfast or lunch!

The fried chicken burger was great - the batter was crispy, the slaw was fresh and the bun was soft and warm. The chips were a great surprise - the seasoning is amazing, I have no idea what it is but I couldn't get enough of it!

The "wild about mushrooms" dish was good, but quite rich - the creamy sauce and buttery mushrooms were tasty but needed a bit of acidity to break it up, or more bread to give a bit of reprieve from the richness of the dish.

We also tried the roast roll, which was a delicious lamb and spinach roll with sweet potato crisps and chips on the side. The lamb was tender and juicy, with a bit of the drippings to amp the flavour up a little and what I think was a chimichurri sauce on it that had a nice little kick.

The only drawback is with the venue - the sound bounces off the walls when there's a few groups in there so it can get a little noisy if it's busy, and the outdoor area is right next to the street with cars and busses going past. Not ideal, but definitely not enough to stop me from coming back and recommending...

Nice looking cafe & friendly staff. Went on Saturday noon and it was pretty quiet. Ordered fritters & southern fried chicken burger, also hot chocolate mint (that is interesting to have in menu!). Coffee was nice, but hot choc mint was rather bland. I dont mind the subtleness mint but hot chocolate itself was very faint in flavour. Fritters were nice but would have been nice if it’s crispier on the outside. Also I expected it to come with relish but it came with creamy sauce with ?chives on it. Tasted nice too but I think it would be better with some sort of relish. Chips were beautiful & seasoned well. Southern fried chicken probably need more sauce, as the bitterness of the cabbage was rather overpowering the dish. Might come back to try...

We had a wonderful breakfast at this cafe this morning. It’s a cute little cafe with great atmosphere and super friendly staff. My friend had the mushrooms, which as you can see from the photo with the fork already in, she could not wait to get started on. She was not disappointed. I decided to build my own with two poached eggs, poached to perfection with bacon and mushrooms served on multigrain toast. The whole breakfast was amazing but the mushrooms were definitely the stand out. The coffee was also great. Overall I highly recommend and with so many tempting options on the menu will definitely be back.
