Molon Labe from the ancient greek: "Come and take them" Used as expression of defiance, Though in this case, one of excellence. Real meat cooked over hot charcoals. You won't find any of that paper thin meatloaf style crappy meat that is cooked over those electric radiant cookers, similar to those classroom heaters from the local primary school circa 1992. Fresh meat is assembled over a giant skewer that has probably taken hours to assemble. The meat is properly prepared and seasoned. For the HSP, you get crispy properly cooked chips, with crisp and well cooked meat, in my case lamb, but I assume the same goes for chicken. It isn't drowned in sauces, and the balance of all the ingredients is on point. Additionally, you'll find a sprinkle of herbs to finish the meal presentation. HSP top points for; Crispy chips. Real meat, not that fake formed stuff. One of the only places in a decent kilometres adius that does not use that cheap imiatation meat.

This place always delivers with their great food! I ordered the mixed grill pack for one minus the salad and bread; as always, it was all on point. For myself, it was a decent feed, and I got two servings out of this. (Get me on a hungry day, and it would be a different story.) All the meat plus chips were cooked to perfection. If you haven't already tried this place, give it a go and support the locals; you won't be disappointed. Thanks for your hard work, and thanks for the extra drink. ❤️😁 Cheers James

We popped in for a quick lunch Wednesday, got 2 lamb portions, $48. Meat seemed left over from last week, not tasty, and dry. It was full of fries, and pinch of meat and little garlic dip...Terrible! Will not be returning. If owner reconsiders to be generous with the meat portion he offers, I will consider coming back. These times are hard for everyone, meat prices have gone up, but its not nice to make a mockery to new customers, since this is a new establishment.

Disappointing. Gyros were very average. Chips were so over cooked they were just awful. No toilets for patrons who are dining in. Terrible service. My 5yr old politely asked at the counter for a cup of water because she had the hiccups and was told they don’t have cups yet they had a mountain of cups all sitting on the front counter. Obviously the response my daughter got was about the dollar. At the end of the day, a child just asked for water and you turned your back on her as though we live in a 3rd world war country. Very poor service. Disgusting that you couldn’t just give her a cup of water especially after we’ve just spent $70 on food. I would never go there again.

In response to your reply. Firstly, my review is 100% honest. Your food was in my view very average and definitely the chips were worst than supermarket chips. They were so over cooked and burnt orange in colour. Secondly, don’t you be dishonest by saying that I personally came up and asked for a cup of water for my daughter. My daughter solely went to the counter on her own and politely asked you. You have clearly written that in your response to try and make the customer look bad when you know and God knows my daughter solely came to you herself. The mountain of clear plastic cups on the front counter close to the window was certainly visible….hence why I suggested for my daughter to ask you for a cup. Called to place an order so I could pick it up when I got there around 1:45pm. Music was LOUD in the background of the shop, he kept saying I can’t hear you. I placed the order and said I’d be there shortly. Got there and he hadn’t taken my order, music was still very loud when walking in and there was only 2 people sitting down eating. I asked for fresh cut meat and was told we cook, cut and put in here (here being some sort of keep warm meat container), we don’t cut and put it straight on I was told. If I wanted keep warm gyros I’d make one at the start of the week and heat it up as i go, I came because I wanted fresh cut gyros. Food was seasoned well but service was average at best especially considering they weren’t busy. I took the order hoping it would be fine but you can tell when the meats been there for a little, it wasn’t bad, but wasnt fresh cut them and there.

I went back after trying and they re-made it, the re made one was really r e a l l y good, but it was a bit of a mission to get it. Overall if you come when they’re cutting / busy it’s probably worth it but otherwise I’d...

I can’t believe I gave my money to this place, when molon labe opened I was ecstatic that Preston had a new souvlaki place right across the road from galaxy. At that time I didn’t realise the owner had no idea what he was doing, I went there after the first week and the gyro was from the day before. Mate, that’s just pathetic, when you’ve just opened you have to keep your customers coming back for more, because I want to see Greek shops like this succeed I came back to give it another chance but I was served the same dry meat from the owner. Mate, where do I begin with him, least energetic person I’ve ever seen own a business, a real unkind person, the guy sits outside smoking all day and seems to be making no money. I would have come every night to eat after playing pool right across the road but why would I, the place is dead. The only reason I wrote this is because after seeing all his spiteful responses it makes me curious to see how and if he will react this time. And don’t dare tell me that dry skata meat...
