Sardinas is the smaller, scaled back version of it's sibling restaurant La Pinta. Think of this as a place to go for a casual catch up with friends. It serves as a wine bar, plus additional snacks, making it great for social drinks. Otherwise it is a great stopping point for seasonal sandwiches made with in house bread. You can also find on offer, cured meats, a cheese selection, and other European focused tapas fare. Hopefully, an appenzeller type cheese, or Swiss mountain cheese, will make a future appearance on the menu.
But that's not all, you can pop in for a glass of wine, cocktail, or select a beer or cider from the fridge. If this dosen't suit, one is able to purchase from a high-quality selection of takeaway wine, from the shelves or fridge. Or go a little further and discover your new favourite Amaro, or perhaps something a little different.
The thing I like the most about Sardinas is their logo and insignia, apart of course, from the brilliant staff. Service is always authentic, warm, yet calm, and composed . The space inside is small, so the venue usually fills rather quickly. Particularly on days of good weather.
I'd recommend the selection of bites, cheeses and cured meats, paired with an accompanying on pour wine, spritz or cocktail to truly imbibe if in late arvo apertivo dining experience.
Sardinas is not only a place to imbibe whilst waiting for a free table at neighbouring La pinta, but a worthy dining destination in it's own right. The key to success here is simplicity, which is exactly why you'll start to find a whole host of regular customers, as you continue to frequent this dining...

I put together a mood board, and provided Brooke with some vague instructions ('beautiful but imperfect', 'not overly sweet/girly' and 'some deep inky reddish-purple flowers softened by pastels').

Brooke filled the house with flowers, and created buttonholes, corsages and one very beautiful bridal bouquet with trailing ribbons. Outside, Brooke had adorned our ceremony location with a rambling altar garden that climbed a wooden arch. Our dinner table was set outside by the pool, and Brooke had arranged small clusters of bronze flower vases, complemented by artfully scattered cherries and figs.
Organising a wedding can be challenging, but I can say with utter sincerity that working with Brooke was the easiest and most enjoyable part of the whole planning process. I would recommend her in...

Hello wine bar lovers, check out this hidden gem in Reservoir. It is a cute tiny wine bar serving small bites and amazing affordable wines. Food was lovely. Highly recommend their house made bread, tahini, sardine toast, meat and cheese platter. I love how they do tap wine and you can just grab a bottle home and refill next time. Will absolutely come back for more drinks and snacks. Highly recommend it for a chill...
