Nuts for Donuts (Reservoir) — Restaurant in Melbourne

● March 2023 ⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars My reason for 2 Stars is mainly that I found my experience to be under average for donuts 🍩

Service was good. Staff was friendly. Although, I was there for the first time and I think it would be easier for customers to know the price if there is a quick list of how many packs for how much and maybe price label on display. I had to ask how does it work like how much is 4 or 6 or x packs and I was told there is 2,3,6 and so on ... So, it maybe a constructive feedback where store can take on which will make it easier for both customers and staffs.

Now, donuts 🍩... I have been wanting to try Nuts for donuts for a while and finally I got a chance of making my way to the shop.

Personally, I found donuts to be quite dry and it's a bit too much bread for me. I cut the bottom part off of most of them so I can taste the topping more with donut bread. Maybe the ones with filling inside might be more balanced between cream and bread. Topping taste good but I wouldn't say it's spectacular. Not sure if I would come back for donuts but at least I...

We drove 6k to get these donuts as were told thebest... save yourself the trip.. got told made onsite... the donuts were stale ... creme custard had curled ... when i spoke to them.. donuts made and delivered to shop... umm not made onsite then... however i specificcally told them no donuts with nuts.. server said the ferrero rocher is a popular choice... omg i said no nuts,she then offered a chocolate with caramel popcorn donught she assured no nuts .. i kept saying looks like nutella she kept saying .. no has no nuts... so it was nutella and the person had a allergic reaction two days later i cannow patiently post... shop sould be closed down... if you can't do them fresh or know what they have and put customers health at risk.. potentially kill ..you deserve to close.. the WORST donught...

I really wanted to like these donuts. I was so excited for the opening!! I got three gluten free ones and was really disappointed. They were dry, crumbly, tasteless, and it seemed as though they were all the same vanilla donut just with different icing. They tasted like they had just been defrosted and were not fresh. You can honestly buy tastier cakes at Coles. I bought them in the $2 sale for the store's initial opening, but there's no way I would pay $4 per donut for these! I hate to say it, but I won't be back. I've been a coeliac for 17 years. The quality of these donuts is where things were at about...
