Came here for pho but no pho, we ordered something else. Food was nice, slowly serve, pork roll was not vn traditional banh mi when serve with small soft bun. Ordered VN coffee but no coffee come, no explanation or apology at all. We told them we haven't get coffee yet, they answered " yes, I know" conversation ended. Just got reply from owner sound like that is our fault when my friend didn't look at menu carefully. Sorry Ms.kim about that my Aussie friends so used to love and eat VN food and order banh mi without look what kind of bun u are using. Tks for blamed back to us and good adversiting your restaurant.

Delicious food, I think it would have been better if it wasn’t take away, especially when it comes to pho, my meat had to be cooked again due to the soup not being hot enough to cook the meat through, so the meat wasn’t that great and I didn’t end up eating any of it, however we currently don’t have much of a choice so over all it was delicious and fresh But I definitely wouldn’t order take away pho again. The wagyu beef rice paper rolls were delicious, fresh and filling. I’ll definitely be back to try the pho again when we are able to sit down. All the best during this time!

We enjoyed our time here at Ms Kim’s and lucky we got a table by walking in as it was packed. We opted to seat inside as it was a 38 degree day and shown to our table with water and menus promptly given. Decor of the white silk lanterns are such a beautiful touch which adds to the ambience. Waiters were super friendly and attentive to fill our cups. The flavours of the dishes are fantastic and loved my lychee fizz mocktail . Sure it’s on the pricier side but will definitely visit for a special occasion :)

We had Pork banh my and bo la lot (beef rolled jn beetle leaves) for entree, and Pho beef and Spicy beef noodles for main. Entree dishes were ok. Just ok. They could have served it better by heating the bread a little bit than serving it cold. The Bo la lot was served half the normal portion as they ran out of beef, which was fine. However the beef was a bit dry, veggies served with the beef was not diverse enough for this dish. Both of our main dishes were disappointed. My partner ordered Pho beef. The broth is not hot, it should be at least hot enough to cook the rare beef in the bowl a little bit so that it could be edible. And the broth tasted nothing like the normal Pho broth. Veggies were already put in the bowl which contributed to the coolness of the soup. Noodles tasted like the instant pho noodle. My order was the Spicy beef noodles. I’ve waited for 1h for my dish, and the owner came and told me that “she was not happy with the noodle, do you want to pho noodle in your bowl instead?”. As I’ve already tasted the Pho noodle in my partner’s bowl, I said no, but really had no choice cuz they didn’t have any other solutions for me, so I went with the Pho noodle. My bowl came out, not hot, had rare beef inside, had the broth in not attractive yellowy color, tasted nothing like spicy noodle and I was very sorry to waste food but have to leave more than half a bowl. I’m Vietnamese and on the authentic cuisine point of view, this restaurant totally failed. On the fusion point of view, they didn’t do well either. Maybe we’ve tried the not so popular dishes of them, but if you could not provide good food then cross them out of the menu. Also, price is ridiculously expensive compared to quality. I gave 2 stars as I hope the owner could read it and improve their restaurant and give Vietnamese food...

The service is horrible, at first they looked very friendly, however, we spend over an hour without food and other people had their food and we didn’t. even when we asked about it they were not polite and yelling at us saying you that we just finished your entree when we finished it over 15 minutes. Even though the food was good i will never go back there. As will as i had an allergic reaction to something, were I’m not sure from what but they were insisting that they did not use anything that could cause allergy.. and they did not care about it. Eventually, we cancelled the main course which we never had and went back home.

(Update)

First of all i would like say that i believe the comment that you have posted proves my point that you are rude towards customers. Second we came in at 7:20 and we canceled and payed at 8:54 which i can prove with picture. I don’t mind waiting for food however, seeing people who came long after us receive all their food including mains while we did not receive other than 2 entree after waiting for long time, which means the kitchen didn’t have many orders before ours. Anyways, the way the staff was talking and explaining the things was...

Pros: Nice location, just opposite the pier with the gardens in front If plating is important to you, then it's very good here, dishes are very Instagram-able Seating and ambiance is nice Saw the manager explaining to patrons how to eat and enjoy some of the dishes, very nice of him to share

Cons: Servings are small - went in hungry, came out hungry an hour or two later Price-wise, more expensive (paying for the location and the other Pros above) Because we probably didn't order enough, got our marching orders in the form of the bill being given to us. Don't quite understand why given the restaurant wasn't full at that time

Would I come back? Given I'm more used to the 'older' style Vietnamese restaurants, and I'm mainly going for the food, then my personal preference is a definite no. But if you want a place to socialise/chat and bring a large group of friends, then you might want to...
