Stags Pub in Williamstown is an absolute local fave. Super chill vibe, great atmosphere, and just a solid spot to catch up with mates or unwind after a big week. The staff are always friendly and welcoming - they make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. The space itself has that classic pub feel with a modern touch, and the outdoor area is perfect on a sunny day. Food-wise, everything I’ve tried was on point. The parma is delicious, chicken burger is huge and the fish and chips were crispy, fresh, and cooked just right. They’ve got a decent range of beers on tap, plus a few fun cocktails if you’re feeling fancy. Whether you’re in for a cheeky weeknight feed, a few drinks on the weekend, or catching the footy with a crowd, Stags always delivers. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Quaint pub trying to be highend. It was a lovely setting and staff was lovely however the food wasn't great and rather underwhelming. Hubby and I ordered the steak ($48 and the cut was not great). The one shot of Jamieson was barely there and I definitely wouldn't come here again. Locals seem to drop in but no one during the lunch service apart from an older group. I'm sure there are better options in Williamstown. Disappointed as it looked promising with the high Google reviews.

Had read alot of good things about the resturant at this place and it did not disappoint! Every meal was good..entre main and dessert. The prices are reasonable for most meals and the service was good. It's a small resturant so make sure you book on a weekend. There is a large indoor and outdoor bar area for pre or post drinks. Highly recommended and lots of parking near by...and next to the railway station 🚉

We have been going to the Stags Head for around 2 years now. We have taken family, friends and mostly just us, ever since we found this gem of a pub. Now, we don't want to tell everybody about it or it will end up too crowded - and we still want to get a table too - but if you've never been there - give it a try. Not only is the food sensational, but the choices are so varied and if you can't find what you want, just ask - nothing is a bother. The staff are always cheery and helpful and don't forget a face. It is a quaint little pub that makes you feel very special. It is as if you have stepped back in time and the world outside doesn't exist. Enjoy the log fire in winter, the beer garden in summer, the live music on different nights and the whole Stags Head experience will make you want to keep going back too. Make sure you try the red wine jus -...

Was really looking forward to having lunch here but ended up quite disappointed.

I ordered the grilled vegetable entree dish. The menu listed a gluten free option with this dish which included gluten free bread. After I had ordered, the waiter came back to say that they had no gluten free bread and would give me extra vegetables - I was ok with that. What made the experience worse was that the grilled vegetable dish was not what it was advertised as on the menu - there was normal hummus instead of beetroot hummus and there was no Meredith goat’s cheese. The waiter did not inform me of this prior to receiving the dish. The service was not overly efficient despite there being only a few other...
