I really wanted to love N’Joy which is why I’ve been back a few times to try different items but it always just end up kind of the same. Mondays seem to have less items available than any other day.
Wish they would use a different bread instead of a soft roll. One banh mi is generally enough for lunch. I like that they’re generous with coriander and the chilli they use is hot.
Food I’ve tried: • Cold Pork Roll ($8.00) 5/10 they don’t use standard pork loaves. It’s a less processed meat. Actually quite nice but if it’s not fresh, it’s incredibly dry. • Chicken Salad Roll ($8.00) 4.5/10 Overcooked chicken. • Meatball Salad Roll ($8.00) 6/10 Not bad. Regular butter used instead of pate and mayo. • Crispy Pork Roll ($9.00) 3/10 Western roast meat style pork. Tuna texture. Dry. No crispiness. Crispy skin may have been forgotten?
Price: Standard / Cheap eat. Slightly cheaper than other banh mis in the area.
Venue: Clean. Seating for dine-in.
Service: Standard....
