I have been going to this Nando’s store for years but definitely not going back again after today, I had the Worst ever experience at this store no complain for food, but service and staff was unprofessional, I entered the store at 2100 placed my order as dine in, was going to sit on a table suddenly approached by a staff in a very rude way you can’t sit here we are doing takeaways only, when I explained I hv placed my order as dine in and how come the counter staff didn’t mention it to me earlier, during this conversation other staff member tried to resolve this issue by saying that we can give you food in a take away container and you can sit here and eat, but again interrupted by the same rude staff by saying that they can’t sit here and started arguing in different language with his colleagues. I found it so awkward and discriminative while other people are still sitting on tables and eating. We hv been told we are not allowed to sit there. Believe me they need to change this staff member because I won’t recommend anyone to go to this place, unless you want to ruin your dinner. On 15.6.21 I attended the Broadmeadows Nando’s and had ordered a take away order (classic wrap )meal. As i came to the middle of the wrap i noticed a hard piece of plastic which i bit into. I decided to email you guys rather then go back to the restaurant as i use public transport. This is the second time I’ve experienced an issue with Nando's Broadmeadows. The first time was on 27.05.2021 my family and i had went to Nando's Broadmeadows and the chicken we had ordered affected us I’m not sure if it was from being undercooked or cross contamination so my family(mother, sister, myself, brother) ate it and we took the leftovers to my father, the next day my father and sister which is 7 years old and i woke with really severe stomach pain, fever, diarrhoea and nausea. Especially my sister was highly affected by it as she is still young, all night she was shouting in pain as it affected her stomach badly. Honestly not everyone is perfect and mistakes can be made so i decided not to defame your business in anyway and let it go. Read moreOnly like to inform you that, everyone is aware of a pandemic, and taking as much precautions as possible, if anyone came to pick order and delivering on scooter/bike it's obvious that they do have an insulated bag for delivering food, if u can see a helmet can't to get an idea that they are not driving a car. There's no parking in front of your restaurant for two-wheeler, and carrying bag with multiple orders in a mall area is difficult plus not safe for food because carrying food in a hanging bag and walking long distance isn't good.
Either you arrange a specific table/area inside your restaurant for Uber/menulog drivers pick up like many other pizza restaurants have in Melbourne.
I understand your concern regarding food safety and I respect that but be sensible at least. If u notice someone have no helmet then he/she delivering on car then you can ask for bag it sounds genuine.
