Episode 1: Eating in! The wraps were pitiful! 3 mini strips, so there was NO chicken left in my wrap halfway through! I complained to the staff and one of them very politely apologized and said they would give me some extra chicken on the side, another butted in and said NO we can’t do that and told the other person off! I pay good money and expect a decent meal!
Episode 2: I stopped by at 9:05pm to take away a whole chicken for my family and was told there was non left. Not even quarter pcs, only some wings and strips so they could do wraps. I told them I cannot afford 5 wraps for the family that’s why I stopped by to get a whole chicken. Since they had none left (not my fault) could they do a deal on the wraps? NO was the answer. And ‘why don’t you try some other restaurant’ was the suggestion! I am one very unhappy and unsatisfied customer!! Shame on you!! Managers need to be given some leeway to make sure...
Read moreWORST EVER SERVICE! NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY! Ordered half chicken online (pickup at Bundoora store) at 19:03 and order acknowledgment shows estimated time at 19:18. Left home at 19:15 for pick up and got called by restaurant staff at19:30 telling me they were out of chicken (all flavours) when I was only a few steps away from the restaurant!
The staff who called me asked me to pick up the chicken tomorrow and refused to provide any details for refunding process when I asked for that. She kept telling me she didn’t know and only asked me to call Nandos myself. Are they nandos? Who else should I call then? The staff just couldn’t give me an answer.
After being through all this, all I want is first get my money back and raise a complaint for the terrible service. They had plenty of time to inform me of their shortage earlier and avoided me to walk 2km at night for the pick up. The staff seem unorganized and frazzled, and this is more than just one or two times. The staff also have no idea how to handle when customers who have been waiting for longer than 30mins but keep getting told 5 mins more get upset.ive witnessed passive aggressive attitudes a fair few times from the staff. The not taking cash is disappointing too, to counter this staff tell people with cash to go around to Coles to buy a gift card then use that. My other issue is they seem for some reason to be so hard up for money they can't afford to give people a separate bag for there drinks. Every time I go in when my order is actually ready I find my drinks in the bag making the hot food cold and wet due to condensation from the food and the heat lamps the order is sitting under.
