I am very disappointed with the service I received here today (Tuesday, January 21st).
Despite the café being quite empty, we were not greeted upon arrival, which set a poor tone for the visit. When we enquired about the filling of one of the food items, none of the staff seemed to know the answer. Rather than offering to find out, we were dismissively told to "just pick something else" if we weren’t comfortable eating something with an unknown filling (which was concerning, as it was meat).
We also ordered an iced matcha latte, initially requesting a regular size but later modifying it to a large. However, we were served a hot matcha latte instead. When we pointed this out, the staff member offered to "change it to an iced one" and was about to pour the hot drink over ice. After noticing our surprise, she asked if that was acceptable.
We politely requested a fresh drink, but the remake was rushed and poorly prepared. She mixed the matcha powder aggressively, added milk without properly mixing the drink, and served it below the usual fill level. The drink was essentially shoved toward us without care, leaving us feeling unwelcome and disheartened.
This is especially disappointing, as we have visited this café several times before and always enjoyed their quality food and typically friendly service, as well as their iced matcha which I considered the best on campus.

Read moreI dont want to leave a bad review because all of the staff are amazing and the food and coffee is fantastic! However, there is one worker who is consistently rude and todays interaction left an even poorer taste in my mouth. The lady with blonde hair who works at the coffee station calling out the coffee orders was standing on her phone and completely ignoring me as I stood at the cash register waiting to order. Another lovely worker swiftly rushed over to me and apologised and took my order. The same lady who ignored me then mocked a customer. The customer had politely asked her if the coffee sitting on the bench she had previously called was her soy cappuccino as she hadn't heard properly. The blonde lady then said yes in a rude tone and when the customer turned and left not even two steps away she then said in a mocking and condescending tone "is this my coffee, ugh the customers these days". Making a mockery of the customer who asked a polite and simple question. I am leaving a good review because again I overall love this cafe and get all of my coffees for uni from here, but this interaction left me feeling bad for the staff that have to work with her pessimistic attitude and left a bad...
Read moreI ordered an ice coffee , got charged $6.80 for it and I received an “Ice Latte” or whatever they gave me (lots of ice and watery coffee) when I told the barista that’s not what I ordered she just rolled her eyes upset and told me they didn’t have ice cream for the ice coffee, I kept saying that’s not what I ordered, the difference between an ice latte and an ice coffee is the ice cream, I didn’t want an Ice Latte, she gave me back $1 aud but still not apology or anything. Anyway! The coffee wasn’t good either. I understand they were busy but paying so much for a bad coffee is not fair with the customer also they should let you know before you pay if they don’t have something so you can decide either if you buy it or not.
