The most memorable Italian feast I’ve ever had! @noi.pizzeria in Preston is a cozy, spacious Italian restaurant with traditional Italian charm and lovely vibes, serving authentic, quality and tasteful Italian food over amazing cocktails and other drinks.
What we had:
Polipetti Alla Luciana, the octopus salad with olives, capers, cherry tomatoes is simply packed with flavours and the octopus was cooked to perfection. Served with perfectly toasted bread, strongly recommended.
Panzerotti Napoletana, these fried cheesy goodness of potato croquettes simply melts inside the mouth right after the first bite.
Linguine Al Nero Di Seppa, this ink squid pasta served with cherry tomatoes, garlic prawns, chilli is simply spicy, yet very tasty and fantastic. Strongly recommended
Margherita pizza, hands down the best Margherita pizza I’ve had in a long time, so fresh, so perfectly balanced and the base is simply fluffy and wonderful. Must try.
Montanara con bufala, the buffalo cheese used in these unique pizza is imported straight from Italy, it’s a fried pizza base, with a soft inner texture, that is so mouth melting, topped with sugo, Parmesan, basil and a whole buffalo mozzarella in the centre, amazing combo that’s gonna make you fall in love with @noi.pizzeria
Do try their refreshing and very yum cocktails.
We also had a coffee cream to wash our taste palette and got ready for baba napoletano dessert, which is a rum infused baba filled with whipped cream and strawberries, it was very delicious and irresistible.
The best part, the service, the staff’s helpful nature, and the owner’s warmth, welcoming and friendly attitude towards all the patrons.
The prices of the menu items are super reasonable and you definitely wanna come back because of great quality and generous portion sizes.
Make a reservation for this week @noi.pizzeria to explore the fabulous Italian dining...
Read moreI came on a Saturday night when they were quite busy and were quite unsatisfied with the experience. We ordered their Antipasto Board as an entree and found we waited far too long for a board of meat and cheese to arrive. Upon its arrival, while we were happy to see a large serving size, the variety was lacking, making it overall underwhelming. We also didn’t get any pickles like the menu stated. It was served with their warm focaccia and that was delicious. 15 mins after we’d finished our board, we were asked by staff if we’d like for the kitchen to begin cooking our mains. We were surprised and frustrated by this as we thought the restaurant would time that themselves, as other restaurants do. They never told us to notify them when we’d like our mains. After a further 20 mins of waiting, our mains arrived (Rigatoni Alla Siciliana and the Noi Pizza). The pasta was far too small for the price ($25) and was lacking depth of flavour. There was also very little eggplant in it. It definitely was smaller than one serving size, especially for a main. The pizza was okay but because the toppings were the same as the ones on the board earlier, flavours were too monotonous between the two. Their dough however is fantastic and probably their best ingredient. I don’t think it’s the best Italian in Melbourne - especially for the price point you can find...
Read moreWe decided to book there for mother's day. Food was ok, and our waitress was lovely. She was very helpful and doing her best to serve us.
However, we had two issues when the bill came:
There was a 33 dollar surcharge for bringng out plates 10 plates to share a cake we brought. a) they never told us there was a surcharge b) they only brought the plates out, they didn't cut the cake, nor serve the cake so 33 dollars for bringing out plates was excessive. At the end, the manager at the cashier (maybe the owner) reluctantly removed it from the bill.
There was a beer in the bill that they never brought out. The waitresses must have forgotten and I forgot about it too, not big deal, I wasn't upset, I didn't care. I only asked: hey can you please remove it from the bill? They did remove it, but not without the manager (again maybe the owner?) telling off the poor waitress, we could see it from our table and the waitress was visible upset and embarrassed. Very uncomfortable situation for something that even me as the customer wasn't annoyed about it.
Unfortunately, it didn't end there, when I came to pay the bill I could sense the manager at the cashier (owner?) was upset at me by his tone of his voice, rudeness and totally disregard towards me.
Very childish and unprofessional.
Anyway, all up very...
