To Whom It May Concern,
We, the members of the South Preston community, are extremely disappointed with the state of the Woolworths store located in our area. The store's poorly maintained outside area is affecting the overall community and is causing a nuisance for those who live nearby. We are also dismayed by the constant poor stocking of shelves, limited product range, and the incapability and undertraining of the store's staff.
As customers of this store, we have noticed that the shelves are constantly empty, and it is evident that the store is not taking enough measures to restock in a timely manner. This constant issue has led to customers having to go to other stores to purchase the items they require, which is an inconvenience that we should not have to endure. Furthermore, the limited range of products available in the store is unacceptable for a large retail chain such as Woolworths, which prides itself on providing quality and diverse products to its customers.
The incapability and undertraining of the staff is another issue that we have noticed in the store. The staff members are often unable to answer our questions and provide satisfactory customer service. This lack of knowledge and training reflects poorly on the store and the Woolworths brand in general.
The overcrowded store is also a cause for concern, as it makes shopping uncomfortable and inconvenient for customers. We have observed that the store is consistently understaffed, and the resources available to customers are insufficient to meet the demands of the community.
We believe that the root cause of these issues lies in the poor management of the store. As members of the community, we expect the management to take the necessary steps to improve the store's overall performance. It is imperative that the management invests in expert consulting to address the ongoing issues, including the staffing, product range, and store layout.
We urge the management to take our concerns seriously and work towards providing the South Preston community with a well-stocked, well-staffed, and well-maintained store. Failure to address these issues promptly will result in us seeking alternative shopping options, and we would be forced to take our business elsewhere.
Sincerely, The South...
Read morelast time I went to this store was on 03/02/2019 and I will never go back. As I left the store and walked towards Aldi a man came out from nowhere, and started verbally abusing me and threatening me. I can't remember everything he said but it included "I'm gonna bash you" "I'm gonna put you in hospital" and other threats. I had never seen this man before, but I had seen the woman he was with, although I have never been friends with her and have no association with her. Anyway, while this was happening a Woolworths staff member was standing right next to him and witnessed the whole thing, but refused to assist me. I then went inside the Woolworths store and the woman at the service desk actually yelled at me and said I had to get out of the store! It was outrageous. Needless to say I would never shop at a store that has staff who treat people like those staff members treated me. I did make a formal complaint to the manager about the staff but he stopped emailing me after a few emails, and I made a statement to the police about the woman and her thug of a husband, but I don't believe anything was done about them. This incident was at about 8.40 AM so if anyone has any camera footage of the incident, including from a security firm, it would help it you message me. I believe the woman involved coached her dopey husband into attacking me and that she got a lot of pleasure out of seeing me being assaulted like that. It would have been bad enough if I was on my own but they did that to me in front of my daughter and she was very scared. I have seen this woman around my area a few times and she always comes barrelling straight towards me with a big smile on her face, like she is gloating and it makes me feel sick.I now have a photo of one of the offenders and I'm working...

We've been shopping at South Preston for the last 3 months on and off but however we prefer the few minutes of extra bicycle riding to the Murray Road store, you think most of the Woolworths are pretty good, but we've drawn the conclusion based on our experiences that the staff here are generally rude and very unresponsive and they seem to run a very poorly maintained store, the store isn't overly well stocked and quite ran down to say the least.
Not sure the last time the store was actually cleaned to be honest but don't think it was any time recent, stock is generally never brought forward and all left at the back of the shelves, face up of stock is very poor, ticketing isn't maintained well. Stock generally of key items is generally out the back, the bakery section is poorly maintained and badly stock of the key essentials the single serve area for rolls savory and slices isn't cleaned well and the tickets are all over the place and don't match the items this cabinet is never really clean and it lets the store down, a baker should take some pride in the work you do.
The night staff are generally rude, shelf stackers are generally unwilling to help you and the duty managers for night are generally not much better to be honest.
The store is really stuck in the 90s and need a complete overhaul...
