Tasty and fresh ingredients. I went for the crispy pork banh mi. This time after a not so satisfying experience previously I asked for less fat and more of the actual meat and crispy pork. My previous meal was full of fat and not much meat - it was fairly empty and quite disappointing, even though I had specified my preference. This time I asked the girl serving and waited for my meal. Another customer wanted to know what i had ordered and was it nice ? I said yeah, when they get it right. The manager then came over and asked what it was that I wanted on there (to double check) so I explained about my previous experience and that I’d like all the trimmings and not so much fat. He charged me an additional $3.80 for extra crispy skin and nice meat. This was an opportunity for him to ensure repeat custom from me but didn’t offer the extra crispy pork on the house. I got home and the banh mi was tasty, not much more crispy pork than before but less fat which is always nice, because it’s not called a crispy fat pork banh mi is it? Anyhow let’s see if next time they get it right as I’m not overly bothered and can always eat and spend my money elsewhere. Thank you. Food was decent but the woman was taking our order made mistake after mistake and we ended up paying for it. Nearly $20 for small spring rolls we didn’t ask for and would have never ordered for the price.

I was trying to speak as clearly as possible and even pointed to the items I wanted when I ordered but she couldn’t get it right.

I was able to catch the first error because the price was too low. (I asked for 2 bai mi rolls. One chicken and one pork. And she put 1 chicken ba mi with added pork )

But she got our second order completely wrong. We ordered a chicken and pork bowl (pointed to on the menu ) and she asked what sauce for the spring rolls. I asked her surprisingly if it came with spring rolls and she said yes.

The spring rolls arrived but we waited for 20min for the dish we actually ordered and when it didn’t come that’s when we went up to ask what happened.

No responsibility was taken and was passed off as not being able to understand what I was saying. She basically said if I paid again then I could get the order I originally wanted.

Really bad and headache of an experience here. Didn’t even get to try what I ordered !Be careful when you order and double check everything...

My friends and I were traveling from Sydney to spend the week in Melbourne for some events and we were recommended this place by several friends in Melbourne. We came here last night for dinner. The place was very clean and service was fantastic!

As a vegetarian, it can be quite challenging at times to find a place that has vegetarian options, but there were great vegetarian choices here, and after much consideration, I decided upon the avocado and salad Banh Mi and vegetarian spring rolls. The baguette was crusty and fresh, and the combination of veggies, herbs and sauces were just perfect (and didn’t make the bread soggy at all). By far the best Banh Mi I’ve tasted! The veggie spring rolls were delicious. They were really crispy and not too oily or dry. They came with a couple of sauces that complimented them perfectly.

My friends ordered the flame grilled Maryland chicken rice dish, Pho, and crispy roast pork vermicelli noodles. The portions were generous and great for the price. The food was so good we finished all of it and loved it!
