I had an absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant, and I would strongly advise everyone to stay far away. It was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The pav bhaji was a complete disaster—how can a restaurant claiming to serve Indian food not even get pav bhaji right? It looked unnatural, like it had been drenched in artificial food colouring just to make it look appetising. It didn’t just taste bad; it felt like a sad, confused version of what it’s supposed to be. We also ordered the deep-fried veg momos and egg bhurji, and both were equally disgusting. The momos tasted raw and rubbery on the inside, as if they had been pulled straight out of the freezer and dumped into oil without even being properly cooked. The egg bhurji was so dry it felt like eating cardboard sprinkled with salt.
To make things even worse, the waiting time for dine-in was around 40–45 minutes. For what? What on earth are they doing back in the kitchen for that long if the food ends up tasting this bad? It’s not like it was fresh or made with care. Why can’t they serve one dish at a time instead of making people sit there for nearly an hour waiting for disappointment on a plate? What really upsets me is—what if someone had been looking forward to this all day? Maybe they were celebrating something, or just in a good mood, hoping for a nice meal out. This kind of experience doesn’t just ruin your appetite, it ruins your whole night. Honestly, I don’t know how the owner sleeps at night serving food like this. It was not just a waste of money, it was a complete insult to Indian food. Shame on this place for calling itself a restaurant. I will never go back—and I strongly warn others not to waste their time...
Read moreMonday night I ordered a spinach and cheese gozleme and a beef burger. The beef burger was quoted on the website at 13.50cent with all their recommended topping including cheese. The worker tried to tell me it cost 2 dollar for extra cheese and then I explained to her that it shows on your website that it comes with cheese she then went to her manager to tell her. And came and told me that yes it comes with cheese. People here at this restaurant do NOT know what's on their menu.
Second thing happened I ordered a spinach and cheese gozleme and and the gozleme presented to me RAW the dough was all gooey and mushy. I dined in today! I told and gave it back to the worker. The worker went and told the manager what happened the manager told me that I ordered without onion that's why it's like that. [ gooey and mushy cheese gozlmee ] They make the gozleme fresh their Indian style. And it came out yucky The owner of this restaurant did not even hesitate to even come to a conclusion with me. About this situation. Instead excuses after excuses. Never going to dine here again.
I've bought of you guys acouple times. I paid a total of 65$ I even think I got over charged. Tonight. I even feel sick at the moment. Never...
Read moreParantha Gully is an absolute gem in Hoppers Crossing! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the aroma of freshly cooked paranthas. The variety on their menu is impressive, and every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors.
The stuffed paranthas are nothing short of perfection—crispy, golden, and generously filled. The choor choor and chicken paranthas were standout favorites, paired perfectly with their creamy yogurt and tangy pickles. The lassi was refreshing and the ideal accompaniment to the meal.
The service was prompt, and the staff made us feel right at home. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a satisfying dinner, Parantha Gully is the place to go. It’s authentic, delicious, and great value for money. Highly recommend!
We’ll definitely be...
