We used to love Phi Phi 2 and dined here regularly before and after Covid - it was always a favourite.

Although we noticed a change of management, we decided to give it a go. I booked for 10 people to celebrate my birthday. After a frustrating attempt to reserve by phone, I went in to confirm in person.

When we arrived for the reservation last night, they tried to seat us in a booth - not suitable for 10 people. We were eventually moved to a larger table.

We placed our drink and food orders, only to be told the bartender wasn't working... on a Saturday night. This meant very limited drink options. When the drinks finally arrived (we had only ordered bottled soju), we checked on the food wait after overhearing another table complain about waiting over an hour. The waiter said it would be around 40 minutes, but didn’t seem confident at all. He also said we didn't order food yet, but we did ?! None of the staff knew what the other was doing.

At that point, we decided to leave. The table next to us also appeared to have had the same experience, and I’ve since seen their Google review confirming this. Another large group who arrived at the same time also gave up and left after finding there were no available tables for their reservation.

Such a shame to see how much this place has changed. It used...

Placed usual order, was phonned by a staff member to notify me one of my items was unavailable, asked if i wanted a drink or entree instead, told her no id just like the money returned.. i then got a speal about how menulog takes a % so i wouldn't be able to get the full amount. I told the lady it wasnt my problem and she agreed to return the $5. Apon delivery i got the food but wasnt returned the money, i queried the driver and he handed over the $5 with a roll of his eyes and saying he knew nothing about it. A few minutes passed and the same driver was back at my door saying that the $5 was in the bag, i had already unpacked the contents of the bag and assured him that it wasnt there but i was made to produce the items so he could inspect. Poor form phiphi2, wont be ordering again and definatly dont appreciate being made to look like a liar/theif due to your miscommunications and poor...

I used to love this place. Always came here for a special meal. I thought it closed down until recently driving around and noticed it was opened and decided to take my family there for a meal. I was disappointed to say the least. The food seemed pretty bland and lacked the flavour we love from Asian food. The meat for the bbq I felt was overpriced so we stuck to the chicken pho. The saviour for me was the spring rolls. We also ordered a whole roast chicken to find it was a boiling and the way it was cut up I couldn't allow my younger son to because bones were sharp. Even though we tried to be careful with him he still ended up cutting the inside of his mouth. I was surprised as I've never had a boiling chicken roasted before. Other people around us seemed pretty happy maybe we just ordered the wrong thing but unfortunately I will never find out as that's the last time I will be...

Located just walking distance from St. Albans station on level one this is a very nice restaurant. As you climb up the stairs you see the restaurant bar and a nice aroma or BBQ and charcoal smell touches your nostrils. And you hear a welcome shoutout from whole staff "Welcome to Phi Phi". We visited on the Mother's Day evening with a group of 14 people. Even though they were busy the service and the hospitality was pretty good. We tried sea food, chicken prawns, mushrooms, rice and noodles. Everything was equally very delicious, the BBQ is cooked on your table on charcoals served with 3 dipping sauces. Try there Dessert menu too. Definitely will recommend this place and visit it once again.

We came for the new menu. Just a week day, not too busy. They dont have doi huyet and some items at that time The service was okay, most of staffs are new. Food was quite terrible for a restaurant. The best thing was their dipping sauce. Based on the photos the portions quite disappointed. Pork was more like boiled than roasted. Rice noodles seem like yesterday. The fried glutinous rice was soggy, no salad comes with it so the dish overall was oily. Also so have to do the chicken yourself, kinda struggle there.
