Pho Ngon Ngon: A Culinary Gem in Croydon
Nestled in the heart of Croydon, Pho Ngon Ngon is an unassuming gem that has been delighting locals with its authentic Vietnamese cuisine for the past few months. Stepping into the restaurant, you're immediately greeted by the warm aroma of spices and the sounds of chatter in Vietnamese. The atmosphere is both cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a casual meal with friends or family.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Ngon Ngon, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and service. I started with the spring rolls, which were light and crispy, filled with fresh vegetables and herbs. For my main course, I had the double cooked pork, which was simply divine. The broth was rich and flavorful, it was perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender and juicy. I also tried the bun bo hue, a spicy noodle soup with beef, pork, and tofu. It was packed with flavor and heat, and it was the perfect dish for a cold day.
To top off my meal, I had the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was a refreshing treat. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and it was sweetened with condensed milk.
In addition to the delicious food, the service at Pho Ngon Ngon was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that I had everything I needed. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu, and they were happy to make recommendations.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Pho Ngon Ngon. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

The staff are friendly and there's plenty of seating, making for a relaxed atmosphere that's a long way from the noise and chaos of Springvale - where you'd otherwise have to go for Pho of this quality.
The Pho soup was light but flavourful, and - unlike many places, it wasn't oily at all, which made it all the more fresh and clean healthy a meal. The lightness of the broth is a big win, as it makes it a great dish for both cold and warmer days to have!
The Bun Bo Hue - a slightly spicier version that has a bit of a seafood flavour to it - was also perfect. The broth was rich and hearty, and the sliced meat they used was actually slices of brisket - not the cheap, bulk bought frozen meat a lot of places use. This made it the best BBH I've had so far in Melbourne, by far!
Loved the food and the friendly staff, will definitely be back here again!

Read moreThe best beef combination pho I ever had with tasty sliced beef, beef briskets, beef balls ⦠and soup. The rice paper rolls looked fresh and tasted good. The crispy spring rolls were even more yummy! Staffs were polite and attentive. 10% discounts on bills for opening. Prices are reasonable even without discounts. Surely my family and I will come back and try other dishes. Hope that the restaurant can keep its good standards in future.
My family and I went here again to celebrate Fatherās Day last Friday. The restaurant was full of people. But we didnāt wait for a long time for the food. The restaurant can keep the same good standard of foods and services. The restaurant is spacious and the toilets are clean and tidy. Glad to see such a good Vietnamese restaurant in our neighbourhood and hope that it continues to serve our community. The first dish was Vietnamese pancake which looked delicious and in big portion. I couldnāt wait to eat and forgot to take a picture. There were big prawns and a lot of slice pork inside the...
