If I could give this place zero stars I would - the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced - the staff working the late shift on Friday 2/8/19 completely ignored us while we stood outside the locked doors, and made eye contact with them. This is at 10pm, when their trading hours are until 10:30pm, on the front of the store. When the customers who were inside, finally left, two people managed to get in, and then one of the staff casually unlocked the door, as we had already walked away, and walked back behind the counter as if nothing had ever happened. When we went inside and asked why they ignored us, the girl with the curly hair said that no one saw us, the door was not locked and why didn't we knock? Bear in mind, the door was definitely locked and the music is so loud in the store that you cannot have a conversation without yelling. Not an isolated incident - yesterday, at 10:15pm a friend came to the door and a male employee --- closed the door on her face --- didn't say anything, didn't apologise for the early closure, just locked the door and walked away. Absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. Never coming...

Took a friend for her birthday who ordered a scoop in a cup. Before finishing our order and paying I pointed out to my friend that it is only an extra $1 for a second scoop. She asked for a second scoop of another flavour but was refused by the server. I'd never experienced an ice cream shop not adding scoops to an order so I pressed why it was not possible. The response I received was 'because i've already made the one scoop.' baffled by this I asked if we could just get the extra scoop on top of the existing cup if transfered to a bigger cup was the problem. We didn't mind if the scoop would ultimately be smaller than you would normally receive in a larger cup. The server refused and likened it to ordering pasta then asking for something extra on the dish. I'm not sure how premade icecream you scoop in to a cup is equivalent to preparing a pasta dish but most establishments would do what they could to accomodate basic food order changes, especially if it didn't result in any loss to the business. Expensive but good ice cream, really poor customer service...

Went here last night around 7:30pm for a dessert after dinner and bought a few ice-creams between a group of us (5 people) and sat around and chatted for an hour max while having our ice creams. When being served the ice cream the guy was quite hospitable and nice, however after sitting there awhile one of the workers comes over to our group and quite aggressively says that people wanted to sit there and we had been there for hours and only ordered one ice cream. Neither of these things were the case and she was quite rude given that we were customers and she could have just asked us to move on. After leaving, we walk past there again about 10 minutes later and all the seats were free which was interesting. Overall gelato was good and high quality.
