Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Melbourne

If I could leave less than one star I would!!!... About a week ago my girlfriend and I ordered online for delivery, they came more than 20mins later than they said they would be, rude, no manners,no apology, once I gave the delivery driver the money he stood there expecting me to say don't worry about the change (which I normally would have to a polite driver but we wanted to give the $7 change to her son to spend at the school canteen), he then pretended he had miss placed his change even though he put my money in his bum bag, he then went to his car and Pretended to look for his change, asked if it was ok if he could bring the change back first thing in the morning, which I said ok,then wanting to make sure he was going to come back we called the store twice about an hour later, the first time we rang, they rudely said that they knew nothing about it but they would speak to their driver to make sure he does (the person who answered the phone sounded like it was the same driver). The second Time the shop answered they said the normal pizza hut greeting, my girlfriend said she was calling to see if they had spoken to the driver about the $7 and they hung up on her straight away..... I have them delivering the pizzas on my CCTV recording and the driver and his car are clearly visible the whole time... I'm now trying to decide if I go to the store and ask one last time, (we've been going there at least once a week for over a year) or if I go to the police about it just on principle and who knows how many other people are being robbed...yes I know it's only $7 but the footage is so clear and it is theift.... DON'T LET...

People with FOOD INTOLERANCES be careful. I ordered off Uber eats purely because it was the only local pizza place who had vegan cheese. I am dairy intolerant (quite badly). I wrote in the pizza’s “special instructions - leave notes for the kitchen” section of the app to please use vegan (dairy free) cheese. The pizza arrived and it didn’t look dairy free as dairy free cheese often doesn’t melt well. I’ve found a few that melt amazingly so thought it’d be fine because pizza hut would surely get these requests all the time being such a big company who mention they’re vegan friendly. I tried a tiny bite and was still uncomfortable so I just called them for peace of mind before I ate more. They found my order and said “oh no sorry, the notes don’t go through to the kitchen, they just get the order. But if you want it another time we can do it free.” I truly hate to think what would have happened if I didn’t literally trust my gut and called them to check. I would have been verrry unwell. Food allergies and intolerances are serious. And if you offer catering for people like us, all precautions need to be followed to ensure you don’t cause harm to someone from negligence. That especially means finding a way to view dietary notes people make on their orders so that the people who are making the food in the kitchen see the information that people are providing in the section where we are supposed to provide this. So so...

I was prompted for a review, very timely. Last time about a week ago during the week I asked for extra sauce on both pizzas, traditional base, ordered a peperoni and vegetarian. Recieved a peperoni that was bone dry, not an exaggeration, thin crust and vegetarian without peperoni. Perhaps deliberately? Previously after collection the Pizza Hut Admin couldn't get through to the outlet after being handed a couple pizzas which weren't mine! The Admin insisted I wait at home while they keep trying to make contact, 45Min waiting, no luck!!! Just decided to drive back and told the nasty/rude staff member that works on the weekends about the insistence to wait and not being able to make contact for 45 Min. I was blamed when I got there to complain and he whinged about having to deal with the other customer. Normally a nice lady who is very accomodating is there but I suspect the partner of the weekend staff may have been responsible for my latest experience. If possible stay away, especially on weekends, bunch of nasty useless clowns. No sense of appropriate behaviour like smiling? Thank you, hello, have a good...
