I would like to make a complaint here. I represent the delivery drivers of Uber Eats, and DoorDash. I want to inform the management, especially the senior management of KFC, to monitor the staff at this branch.
After 1 a.m., whenever we, the Uber Eats or DoorDash drivers, receive orders, the male staff at this KFC often instruct us to cancel the orders.
For example, if we receive an order while the store is still operating, they still tell us to cancel it. When we ask why, they say there is no stock or no chicken. However, at the same time, we can see that they do not want to prepare the food because they have already started cleaning the area.
The store is still open and has not closed yet. They should continue to fulfill orders until the store’s operating hours are officially over.
Even worse, when we cancel an order, it causes problems for our accounts because of the cancellation record. If there are too many cancellations, our accounts could be deactivated by Uber Eats or DoorDash.
There are also situations where after we cancel an order, the customer places the same order again, and suddenly the KFC staff is willing to prepare the same order at the same time. This clearly shows that they intentionally make us cancel so they can leave early or relax, even though the store is still operating.
This causes us difficulties because whenever customers ask why their orders were canceled while the store is still open, we can only explain that the staff instructed us to cancel. We do not want to argue because the staff are very rude, and we have no reasonable answer to give other than that we want to avoid conflicts every night at KFC Springvale.
We request that KFC management monitor these staff members. Please remove lazy and dishonest workers. There are many people out there who genuinely want to work sincerely and diligently.
We do not want this issue to cause our accounts to be suspended or deactivated by Uber Eats or DoorDash. We hope the management will take immediate action against staff with this kind...

When I and my family reached home to have KFC for the dinner, Zinger burger in all of the 3 Zinger boxes were prepared with no Zinger Patty instead the KFC staff added a very small piece of chicken and added 2 additional pieces with uncooked coating (with no chicken) which was so hard which you can't even chew it was like a rock / wood. The taste was so disgusting and after eating half I am felt extremely sick and having stomach ache. I asked my family not to eat and we need to return these burgers to KFC Springvale and ask for a refund. We all went to KFC store and called the manager on duty who was not very friendly and initially didn't accept that it was mistake but we had to explain this over and over again that the burger they have prepared is not called a food. We didn't get these burgers for free or not received in a charity she then admitted that the store ran out of Zinger Patty so they added what they had available. KFC staff didn't bother to advise us at time of pickup that they don't have any Zinger Patty but made the burger with whatever rubbish they had leftover and whoever gets sick they don't care. Clearly where KFC advertises freshly made food and quality food this is not a really good image of what KFC promises to their customers. I don't know how many people have been served liked this by this store and who made a complaint to you or got sick after eating this rubbish. When I asked the store manager that I will make a complaint to KFC I was told that I am giving attitude to her. We wanted a refund but ordered through app and refund process is not very simple so instead we asked the store to make new Zinger burger which they made with a Zinger Patty. Read moreDisappointing once again. Last time got told to use the app to get the deal. Did so this time and got there and the app failed. Then the manager spent time solving it but again didn't work out. She bypass that and gave me my order. But then the girl at the counter, probably a newbie, spent 15 minutes to 20 minutes to piece together two burgers two small chips two small coleslaw and two Pepsi Max. Talk about fast food. By the time I got the chips it was soft and floppy. The burger was not what I ordered. My receipt says zinger I got two originals with wilted lettuce and they were the tinge of green that looks like defrosted lettuce. The chicken was cold and no longer crsipy. Nothing resembles the colonel's original standards. Each time I go I get disappointed again. But I keep coming back in the hope of better service and better food. I should have driven to oakleigh or Clayton for better service and freshly cooked food. Drive through is no better. Make sure you check all your ordered items and count them before driving off or you'll end up with missing items like myself during my last three drive through hence I came inside this time. But still disappointed. Standards are poor both in food and service.
Update:2023 February. Has anyone experienced a double or tripled fired kfc wings with three times the amount of batter. The chicken was bone dry inside and the batter was so thick I swear I was eating a deep fried burger bun with a very dark meat chicken winglet inside. Hidden deep deep inside.
