Disappointing experience. It was 8 p.m. when I placed an order at the counter for chicken with pepper and chilli, and a side dish of steamed rice. I'd say they were at around three quarters capacity. Certainly not booked out, there were no lines of people waiting for service, there was no one at the counter waiting to pick up meals or placing orders. I placed my order, paid and was told it would take 15 minutes. I couldn't help but notice how many staff members were behind the counter, they were everywhere, but no one seemed to know what was going on. Although they were doing a wonderful job of looking busy, they didn't really appear to be doing anything at all. I went next door to grab some groceries, then at 8.20pm returned to the restaurant to collect dinner. The young lady who initially took my order said, sorry, it will be another 10 minutes. I took all the groceries to the car and by the time I got back to the restaurant it was now 8.35pm. The same girl saw me coming, she took off and disappeared into the kitchen, but it wasn't long before she returned to the counter smiling, again with the same story. Sorry, sorry, another 15 minutes. This is now getting ridiculous. By this stage there were probably 6 people left sitting at tables inside. There was nobody waiting at the counter. So how many times can they forget to either process the order or cook the meal? And again, there were multiple staff behind the counter, each one of them looking into the takeaway bags lined up, checking dockets over and over, taking something from one and putting in another. It appeared as though they really did not have any idea what was going on. I was at a table inside and after about 10 minutes, I watched another staff member bring out a bag and place it on the counter. The staff were clearly very busy chatting to each other behind the counter in the little group they formed. When I finally approached the counter again at 9 p.m, yep, that was my food sitting there in front of the girl that took my order an hour ago. I made it quite clear the service, or lack thereof, was unacceptable, but it just seemed to fall on deaf ears. There were maybe 3 diners left inside by now. So it took a full hour to cook chicken and rice. Which cost me over $20. The icing on the cake from this glorious experience was a very average meal filled with dry, burnt chilli pods. Never again will I go anywhere...
Read moreThis was the worst takeaway meal I've had in the last couple of years. The meal was ordered at 6.42 and was told they were busy and it would take 25 minutes. I arrived at 7.05 and paid for the two dishes. I could see one of the meals on the back counter in a plastic takeaway bag with my number on the ticket stapled to the bag.
There was also another 14 orders also on the bench. It was a further 20 minutes before the order was ready. Many of the waiting diners were waiting for fried rice, although I wasn't.
I complained that I thought the first meal may not be hot enough. Even though I was standing next to the counter and could see all the waiting meals the assistance swore blind that the meal had only been waiting there for 10 minutes. The food waiting area is not heated to keep the ready prepared meals warm. When I got home the rice in the dish was tepid at best.
DO NOT ORDER MEALS AT THIS RESTAURANT., UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT EXCESSIVELY FOR COLD AND POTENTIALLY...
Read moreI had a very bad experience at this place. To begin with the floor was sticky and dirty and tables were sticky too.. it has not been cleaned and there were rice under the tables.
I oredered 4 dishes... not one of them were nice.. the noodlea was horribly oily. it was sickening. the chicken was way too salty Beef- i dont know what that was. The sauce was overpowering and it seemed like some cheap chinese sauce was juat poured over it the worst was the rice which was definitely going off.. not even my son, who loves his food, wanted to eat that.
I only told them about the rice which was going off and they could clearly see it was untouched. They still charged me for it.
Its not value for money. Worst...
