Where do I start?! I was told over the phone 25 minutes. Got there with 5 minutes to spare and waited a further 40 minutes!!! I ordered two steamed South Melb Market dim sims only to be told on arrival they only fry them. Instead, I asked for 4 steamed regular dimmies with just a little soy. A lady and her daughter stormed out, also having waited an hour. After 50 minutes I asked what's going on but didn't get an answer although the 'food' was ready 5 minutes later. The summary: Almost cold, soy-drenched dim sims that needed to be drained before eating! I noticed them sitting there in the container for quite some time. Disgusting chips that don't even taste like potato. A burger with the meat pattie too thin and too small for the bun. My son did enjoy his grilled blue grenadier.
I'm guessing the rave reviews before mine were during the previous management.

No one had any idea what was going on, people queued for 30-40 mins just to order (I was one of them), people waiting outside for their cooked order having no way of knowing if/ when the food was ready as the only communication was belching to the street from behind the counter........ couldn’t think to have your young runner being more useful??? Read moreCome back after four years and I've felt it's slightly average. The food is great, but the atmosphere isn't. I usually order through UberEats and all is dandy and decided to come eat in today. Most of the restaurant isn't super clean - the displays have got spray marks from not being cleaned properly, the air filter on the drinks fridge is really dirty, the fryer has heaps of grease, and some of the tables really need a wipe down. Customer service was really mediocre - no upselling, no "enjoy your food" after delivering. Plus, there was barely anyone on the floor and all their kids were visible in the back.
