Told it’d be a 20min delay if ordering food. Didn’t see any issue with a short wait. Had to pay upfront when ordering which wouldn’t normally be an issue. However, after paying for our food and drink order we were told they can only serve coffees in takeaway cups due to a broken dishwasher. Coffees took at least 20mins and not accompanied any spoon to stir in our sugar. After requesting a spoon we were given a small plastic spoon. Very confusing why everyone is eating on plates with normal cutlery and cold drinks/water are all served in glassware. Yet the cappuccino in a mug I ordered could only be served in a takeaway cup with a plastic spoon. 45mins into waiting for our food we enquired about the delay only to be told that our meals hadn’t been started yet and would probably be an extra 15 mins before before our orders were up. At this point we requested a refund and left. Staff were not rushed off their feet, there were 3 girls out front in addition to kitchen staff. There were less than 20 people in the cafe and at least a 1/3 already had their food. The delays and attitude of our servers left us with the impression that we were an inconvenience and were too lazy to wash a few extra dishes. Wish I could say something nice about the coffee or the venue. But the coffee was so scolding hot, the server couldn’t carry it properly. It tasted so bitter I was unable to finish it. The upstairs/outback area was filthy. Staff were clearing tables and not wiping them afterwards. Cobwebs everywhere, aircon has a thick layer of dust above it. The canopy above us was stained and gross. Hate being this negative but it truely was not an enjoyable experience. Wish we’d just gone...

Daniyeru's Detailed Review:

Customer Service 5/5 *Stsff here are friendly, especially the owners who will come and have a brief chat to you which is always welcoming as this is a scarcity in nowadays society where it's either pretentious or just non existent.

Food 5/5 *Food here is absolutely delicious! *Truffle Scrambled eggs were full of flavour *Truffle Spaghetti is also full of flavour and perfectly cooked noodles *Benedict's were also just as yummy!

Value 3/5 *Portions here are small in general. Spaghetti was enough to feed a child or teen, not really an adult size. If so, near towards an entree size, not a main size. Fillings on the toasts could have been upsized to leave a feeling of satisfaction and a memorable experience to have you coming back for more

Atmosphere 5/5 *Nice Cafe with huge potential. It has an upstairs kids play area for those who have unruly, super energetic kids for you to let go of and have some tie for Cafe food and drinks for a while.

Overall *Definitely a returning Cafe, as it provides a kids play area for those who need it. My only improvement would be the sizes and portions of the menu items, considering the price being paid for it too. This is the only thing stopping it from receiving a 5...

Visited here for brunch on a Saturday. I have to say the food was the best I have had at a cafe for a long, long time. Everything was fresh and made on site and really tasty 😋. We spoke with the chef who advised us that the food does take a little longer to prepare than the average cafe but that is because it is all made fresh to order. Let me tell you it is worth the wait and we'll deserving of five stars. The service was good and friendly for a couple of young ladies and the coffee was very good. I think I've found my new regular brunch spot. Thank you 😋👍 Update 01.03.2023: The quality here is consistent. We called in for a coffee and decided to have breakfast. Just a simple bacon and egg roll but obviously made really well. The bacon was great tasting quality bacon, lovely fresh eggs and the relish was awesome all in a fresh bread roll. Coffee was great as always too 😋😋👍👍 Update 11.05.2023: Do yourself a favour and try the bacon and egg roll around THE BEST proper real tasty bacon and lovely fresh egg in a delicious bread bun/roll thing 😋😋👍👍 Update: 16.07.2023: Just a simple cheese & ham croissant and a coffee but the best I've had anywhere...

Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Staff quickly attended to us and were very helpful in providing information to us about the food. I got the grilled chicken burger but removed the cheese. The chips on the side were average. The burger had a nice soft bun although the chicken required some excessive chewing which made the burger unbalanced with the rest of it which went down easy. It was decent but I wouldn’t order again. My friend ordered the vegetarian big breakfast. The avocado served as a cool refresher to balance the other elements of the meal. They said this dish was good but not *amazing*. For drinks we got a vanilla shake and a freshly squeezed apple and pineapple juice which were both very nice. The milkshake was practically perfect as far as vanilla milkshakes go. Overall was a nice experience but areas of the food could be improved. However I appreciate the visible love and effort put into the food. Thank you

We spent $80 here. We ordered the kids nuggets and chips. The chips were fresh and crispy. Decent. We ordered two coffees. We weren't a fan. The coffee tasted a little burnt. We had the sourdough with poached eggs. The poached eggs were a little bland and lacked salt and pepper. We also tried the sourdough with scrambled eggs. The first batch was a little underdone (I know it's about preference) it also had a hair on it. Not a big deal, kinda gross. We asked for them to be remade and cooked a little more which was much better. Two pieces of buttered sourdough toast were lovely. The portions of scrambled eggs were quite large and filling. The mushrooms were delicious just wish there was more. Hashbrowns were crispy and well seasoned. Avocado was fresh and creamy. The smoked salmon was delicious.
