Sam's Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I think the food here is nice. I've had bacon and egg rolls and muffins, some of the focaccias and some of the sandwiches. They have always been freshly made, I highly recommend. I really don't like the coffee. I have tried it multiple times and it has always been very burnt. I don't think I'll return to this place for only 1 reason. Every single time I have come, a woman says hello and how are you, I always respond with a hello and asking how she is too. She NEVER hears me and asks me the same question again, very rudely. I don't understand how I can literally shout, "I'M GOOD THANKS, HOW ARE YOU" and she doesn't hear me. The people in New South Wales can hear me. It's fine to have hearing issues, it's not fine to ask again in a nasty tone after I have actually responded. When I have responded to her greeting, she doesn't look in my direction and continues her jobs. If you have hearing difficulties, you should look at the person you're communicating with. Please don't aggressively respond with a smart remark. It's happened every time and it makes me feel very uncomfortable. After these continuous encounters, I'll find a different small business to purchase from. It's not nice to be spoken to like this and I have always left this place feeling...

One of the greatest inventions in the history of greatest inventions. People may say the Hills Hoist is the best Australian invention but they are all wrong. Sam's Cafe burgers is the best invention in Australia and maybe even the world. Everyday I go here, it does not disappoint other than the time I got chased by a gang of eshays. I pray that this store goes international so everyone is the world gets to experience this store. I still dont understand why this store has not gotten at least 7 michelin stars. These burgers has saved many lives and has transformed many lives. In my opinion, this store is 101% better than down the street cafe. When i have a bad day at school, i use sam's cafe to save my day. I love sam's cafe and i love it more than anything in the world. I hope my local cricket/footy/tennis clubs cab get sponsored by this amazing cafe as i want to represent this cafe with glory and pride. A family run cafe with staff who are warm and where nothing is too much trouble. Your name is remembered and you will know all staff by name too. Very inviting - you can join in the conversation behind the counter - or not. Sam’s special variety of burgers are massive and delicious! There is no skimping on fillings in wraps, focaccias, rolls or sandwiches. A variety of Hot foods and slices available too. Food quality matters- I have seen vegetables meticulously washed . There is a massive fridge of various drinks. I love the coffee and hot chocolate- made to perfection because they care that I like it strong.
