Extremely disappointing experience today after coming here for about 2 years. We made a reservation on Friday for today ;Sunday lunch. When we arrived there was no table reserved for us.They obviously forgot and most likely gave it away.We waited for a table and ordered our Prawn Mee.Only to be told after 15mins that there was none left???? We then ordered other dishes. We waited close to 25mins while others after us got their dishes. When we questioned them the young female staff proceeded to tell us that the table of 10 were more important then the 2 of us and had to be served 1st???? Despite running out of what we have ordered and waiting for the 2nd option? When we complained to Mary the owner she took it lightly. We will NOT be returning to Shangrila again as there is no shortage of Malaysian restaurants serving the exact same dishes and even better.Shangrila needs to learn customer service and the fact customers speak with their feet and never to return. Extremely disappointing and poor customer service that has left a bad impression after patronizing them...

The yusheng was $90 for a medium which was pretty expensive. But it tastes really good, probably one of the best I’ve had. The salmon is nicely seasoned, tastes great. It’s a great mix of flavours. Sour, sweet, salty, everything is well balanced.
The sweet and sour chicken is alright. The outside is well covered with sauce, nice thin batter. But the meat on the inside is a bit bland as the seasoning and sauce doesn’t really penetrate through.
The mixed vegetables are good. Sauce covers every inch of the vegetables, nicely cooked. They’re still crunchy and have a nice texture.
The chicken is my favourite here. It’s well cooked, meat is really tender and flavourful. I like the sauce they provide too. It goes really well with the chicken.
Overall it’s a pretty decent place. The food is good, but it’s...

Service & Ambience [4] the staff was friendly and chatted with us while we are browsing through the menu. Well we are the first customers when they open at 11:30am. Nothing much had change to the restaurant since we last came.
Food [3]. We were abit let down by the taste of the food; the char quay teow which I like the most, wasn't that great. Lacked of the wok smell. The ginger beef hor fun has the work smell but portion seems smaller. The seafood taro (yam) basket serve generous seafood but the sauce doesn't go well. Finally, the tofu claypot and lor bak, I would say so so.
This was our 5th time and while we are excited to return, the food...
