We came here for my birthday last night and the customer service was very poor, one staff member in particular was extraordinarily rude.

I booked online in advance and when we arrived no table was set. I asked if we could have an extra place set for us, which the guy said was fine. This was never set and we had to take a chair and table setting from another table, and set it up ourselves.

No water was provided on our table and I had to ask twice before they brought it out. We sat for a while waiting for someone to take our order. No one came, and we had to ask if someone could take it. Which then a staff member came over and said to us rudely that they could only take our order if only 1 person was paying, otherwise use the QR code.

When we had finished our food, my partner went up to ask if we could get the cake we brought with the candles we also brought. The guy brought the cake out with no candles and asked whose birthday it was. When I put my hand up, he slammed the cake in-front of me with plates and walked off. No candles, no cutlery and no knife. My partner got up and asked him where the candles where and he said there are no candles. I knew we had brought candles, so I got up myself and ask the person at the counter if we could get the candles we brought. The person at the counter said that they could not find the candles, apologized, and said that they would find me some candles.

We left in shock at how rude the staff member was. Then when we had arrived home we received a phone call from the manager who accused us of not paying. Luckily, we had the receipt which said paid. When my partner said we had the receipt, we were told no you must have a bill not a receipt because you haven’t paid. The receipt said “tax invoice” with the words “paid” written on it. We checked our bank account and the money had come out. The manager kept saying the order is still on our system so you haven’t paid. After arguing on the phone for a while. I noticed a staff members name on the receipt and a time of when the payment was taken. Which I gave to the manager over the phone. With no apology, the conversation ended. The manager had clearly not checked with his staff or the cameras to see if we had paid, before calling and accusing us rudely.

It is such a shame that this staff member has provided us with such poor customer service, because I have always eaten at Slices and the food is quite good. However, after this experience, I will not be returning and neither will my...

Despite several friends saying the food here is below average, I still decided to give it a chance and ordered in the drive thru.

Pulled into the drive thru and there is not a single menu in sight and you're not even offered one when you get greeted at the window, you’re just expected to know what to order straight away.

Obviously left with no choice but to look at the menu on my phone, I showed the worker what I wanted and was told they cannot honour the price on their online menu as that’s a takeaway price however I’m in the drive thru ordering takeaway so make that make sense? I gave up arguing back and fourth and paid a higher price for the food, who knows what they’re charging you for as you won’t get a receipt or a menu to look at that supposedly has different pricing.

After that, I get put into the waiting bay for 15-20 mins only to receive garlic bread that was barely cooked and lukewarm, lasagne that was also lukewarm, microwaved and mushy with a watery sauce covering the whole entire lasagne.

I go to eat it and find out that there’s no cutlery, so back through the drive thru again just for cutlery then workers acting like I’ve caused them a major inconvenience for a piece of cutlery that they forgot.

$36 down the drain and you’re guaranteed to get a nicer meal at maccas next door compared...

If I could rate this below zero (no stars) that's exactly what this place would get and rightfully earned. I am writing to express our deep disappointment with the service we received during our recent visit. My family of 5 adults and 2 children expected a pleasant dining experience, but instead, we were rushed out the restaurant halfway through our meal. After placing our order and paying upfront -over $250-we were abruptly informed that the table we were sat at, was needed for another booking at 5pm. It was shocking to be told that which had us pack half our meals in takeout containers while we were still eating. We came in for a dine -in experience, not to feel like we were being booted off our table. I gave feedback that if they already had a booking they should not have sat us down and advised us they were expecting and had booked another big group. No compensation was offered, until my daughter had asked if there was any for the inconvenience caused. To add insult to injury, we were offered a meager $30 voucher, which feels utterly inadequate given the circumstances. This experience left us feeling disrespected and unsatisfied. We cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality dining experience. Save your money and choose somewhere that values...
