Subway South Morang — Restaurant in Melbourne

This has been our second time in this branch as we often go to Westfield and for the second time it was not a good experience with the ssme lady. During our first visit was unwell, I had stomachache that night and today she seems unwell again as she sneezed a couple of times. Did not sanitized, just said sorry.

As I had my cravings today, I asked the lady to add an extra and egg of which I don't mind paying for it. She said, I can't give you an extra because I don't have enough for the next customer. The eggs are being defrost still. It was only myself and my husband in the store at 10:46am. I got my order.

My husband ordered for his and he asked for a veggie delight with avo and if she can add the last egg in the container and will pay for extra. She said "i'm sorry but again we don't have enough eggs". My husband said nevermind. She then went to add a thinly spread of avocado, like a butter worth... in a footlong... in other brabchrs, they do it in scoops.

Salads/veggies are very thin. The bread is much thicker than the veggies after it was rolled out. Before paying, I asked for a 6pcs of cookies. She continued to punch my bill, I paid and she said thanks while I was wait for my cookies. Nothing happens so I asked if I can get a copy of the receipt, so I can check if she keyed in the cookies. She then explained that my order was customed (just veggies and egg) she charged for a veggie delight which is normal. But the cookies aren't there. When I asked, she said she forgot.

We are just a stone throw away from this branch but we are not coming back ever. Service was poor, food is good but not to what should the normal subway sandwich should be just like in other branches.

Don’t not go here for gluten free the staff don’t not know how to make it safe for people who can’t eat gluten the order was being made as a normal foot long first the asked for a gluten free wrap the staff member walked into thw back without taking off her gloves then put the already contaminated gloves into the whole bag of gluten free wraps and when it was pointed out that it was contaminated they offered to make a new one with the wraps form the same bag tha she had put her hands in with the gloves that had touched the normal bread. The lady who served me was very kind and made a wonderful sub. It was a lovely experience until (I assume) her manager came out and tried to upsell me, then told her she made a mistake and put the wrong info into the computer, which then added an extra $6 onto my bill. Typically this wouldn’t bother me, I would be happy to pay the correct amount. However, he was so rude to her infront of me.
