Sugarbeat Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Overall the cafe is pretty good, food and drink is good. Wanted to order some food off the menu and was told that the kitchen was closed which sucked, instead ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich which was okay but the salad tasted old and funky, mange smoothie was okay, overall service was good as well as the atmosphere, but my appetite was kind of ruined by one of the customers having their bare feet out and picking it with their finger....

I recently visited Sugarbeat Cafe and was impressed by the quality of the coffee, delicious food and the friendly staff. The barista was very knowledgeable about coffee and gave helpful menu suggestions for me wife's dietary requirements. The atmosphere of the cafe was also very inviting, clean and comfortable. Overall, I had a great experience at the Cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for good coffee and friendly service...

It was ok, not amazing. Coffee was good but the breakfast was not great. Catalan breakfast with the eggs way overcooked, chorizo unevenly cooked slapped on an unheated Turkish roll. There was just nothing else. For $20 it's a hell of a mark up for 2 eggs in 1 chorizo and 1 Turkish roll with no care or attention. No relish, sauce, green or anything me. Odd this place is 4.6/5. I might go back and try some...
