An Authentic Slice of Thailand: Fresh Flavors That Transport You

From the moment you step into this Thai restaurant, you're greeted by the aromatic blend of fresh herbs and spices that sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. What truly sets this establishment apart is their unwavering commitment to freshness and authenticity in every dish they serve.

The Kitchen's Strengths: Remarkable freshness of ingredients Authentic Thai flavors Consistent quality across dishes Well-balanced seasoning Careful attention to preparation

Standout Elements: The restaurant's dedication to using fresh ingredients elevates every dish from good to exceptional. The herbs, like Thai basil, kaffir lime leaves, and cilantro, taste as if they were just picked from the garden. Vegetables maintain their crisp texture and vibrant colors, indicating proper cooking techniques that preserve both nutritional value and flavor.

Flavor Profile: Each dish demonstrates the hallmark complexity of Thai cuisine - the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy elements. The chefs clearly understand the importance of layering flavors, allowing each component to shine while creating harmonious combinations that dance on the palate.

Atmosphere & Service: The dining environment complements the food perfectly, creating a comfortable space where you can fully appreciate your meal. The staff's knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences adds to the overall positive experience.

Value Proposition: Given the quality of ingredients and preparation, the prices represent fair value for the dining experience offered. The portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming, and the attention to detail...

My family and I recently had a fantastic dining experience at this cozy “Thanadee” Thai Restaurant. The food was absolutely delightful, with a wide variety of flavourful dishes to choose from. Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, showcasing the authentic flavours of Thai cuisine. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions.

The restaurant itself is a bit on the smaller side, which can make it feel a bit packed when dining with a group or family. If you're planning to visit with a large group, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure that the restaurant can accommodate your party comfortably. Despite the limited space, the intimate atmosphere adds to the charm and creates a warm, welcoming vibe.

One of the highlights of our experience was the interaction with the owner and staff. They were genuinely nice, making sure that every guest felt at home and had a memorable dining experience.

It's worth noting that parking in the area can be a bit challenging due to the popularity of the area. Be prepared to spend a few extra minutes finding a spot.

Overall, I highly recommend this “Thanadee” restaurant for its exceptional food, wonderful service, and friendly atmosphere. It's a great spot for a casual meal with friends or a cozy dinner with loved ones. Just keep in mind the potential parking situation and remember to make a reservation if you're visiting with a larger group. Our family had a lovely time, and we can't...

Spoke to a woman over the phone who couldn’t get our order right. Repeated ourselves multiple times & made it known multiple times that there was an allergy to soy involved.

the female speaker on the phone then randomly asked if I could have egg, I said yes, I would like egg in the food as there was no problem with this and I was a little confused as egg hadn’t been mentioned at all on my end and was standard in the order.

My partner got there to pick up the food and the lady informed him it had no egg but still had soy. She then told us that it was impossible to make without soy - which is simply not true as it’s been done before, or they’ve been ignoring me and making me sick. Both are bad outcomes.

She then got frustrated with my partner because it was already made and she didn’t want to make a new one.

I wanted to leave this feedback with the establishment directly, but I didn’t want to call and get the rude woman again, and couldn’t find an email. To have disregard for allergies, get something wrong, then get mad at the person who had communicated what was and was not ok, really isn’t ok. Mistakes are reasonable and I would have let this go, had the woman not been rude...

Tom Yum entree was ok. Not bad. Not outstanding. Glad I ordered it though because the Larb Gai was surprisingly… mild. Wonderfully fresh, served with lettuce like a Western “salad”. I was expecting finely ground chicken with an intense set of flavours, sour, sharp, aromatic with a generous amount of chili heat, but this one was… subtle. Not terrible, just unexpected. I tipped the rest of my Tom Yum soup into the salad and created my own improved version (!?). Ordered an unusual sounding dessert which I thought might be Thai but now I think could be their original invention - Sweet Corn Roti - essentially a samosa parcel filled with corn kernels swimming in condensed milk. Fun and yum. Seemingly not the place to find authentic dishes, but still good food.

We dined at this restaurant again after a less-than-pleasant takeaway experience a couple of years ago. It was a Thursday night, and the small dining area filled up quickly, with three tables already reserved when we arrived. The marinated grilled chicken, served with various sauces, was outstanding. We also ordered peanut sauce on the side, which elevated the dish and was definitely the highlight of our meal. Unfortunately, everything else was just average. The Panang curry was very mild in flavor, leaving me searching for a taste that would stand out. The lemongrass prawn, on the other hand, was overly salty. Overall, it was a light meal, but I left feeling unimpressed. Service was good.

Food here is delicious! The owners are lovely definitely a hidden gem! Would recommend dine in rather than take out! Presentation is fantastic and food was great if you are looking for stuff that isn't too intense. Food recommendations: Entre - coconut prawns, soft shell crab, spring rolls Mains - stir fried beef, tamarind barramundi, curry was also a delight (I had slow cooked lamb) but most dishes were tasty anyway - parking available across the road near train station 2min walk
