Firstly there is 2 coffee clubs inside the werribee plaza. This feedback is for the restaurant style Cafe and not the pop up store near Kmart.
There's a couple of issues concerning your chef Vesna which myself & my husband have had occur while this particular chef has cooked our food over the past year we have been attending the coffee club in Werribee
There has been a few things been cooked/done incorrectly over this past year however today I felt the need to make you aware of these recurring issues as they are starting to feel more like a personal issue between Vesna and myself.
For the majority of the time the orders come out for my husband right however I do understand it gets busy at times and the wrong order comes out. Around 6-8 months ago I ordered my husband's omelette and mentioned he has a dairy allergy and cannot have cream or milk in the eggs the lady who served us repeated it to us "dairy free omelette our 3 extras were Mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes.
After taking one or two bites my husband noticed the omelette had cheese and a lot of it cooked into the omelette which chef Vesna had prepared.
It's very lucky his allergy is only mild and not a serious one has anaphylactic shock is a serious and life threating medical issue which requires an EpiPen on the spot to reverse.
After getting this issue resolved with the supervisor on duty. My husband had decided to not eat at the coffee club again with me. He has had prior issues with orders coming out wrong previously and I think the lack of seriousness in this order took its toll for him.
I myself do enjoy coffee club so I continued to eat there. The next time I ate there I brought my 7 months old son and asked for my poached egg well done not runny as I'm breastfeeding feeding.
Getting my egg I cut it open to find it runny and popped open on my plate
Chef Vesna got the egg I returned threw the same egg in the boiling water then threw it back into the plate in pieces exploded open and soaking wet on the plate. I am not too sure I've ever seen such an poached egg a chef would serve like thar in my life.
Today I ordered spinach in my omelette and halfway through i realised I was eating soggy lettuce salad mix cooked thoroughly into my omelette ( picture attached)
I made one of the lady's aware and she offered a refund which I appreciated. The lady mentioned Vesna had left right after cooking my omelette so she could ask her why lettuce was cooked in there not to mention my stomach feeling nauseous since eating that omelette not sure what else was cooked in there.
I don't like thinking things are personal however I have caught Vesna giving myself and my husband but manly me very nasty looks when we come in and stand at the counter to order and while sitting which makes an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere.
It feels more than accidental when these looks are given its highly uncomfortable and feels a little personal and the repeated "mistakes" that happen when we eat there, at the end of the day we go there to enjoy food and coffee and Instead are meet with these issues everytime chef...
Read moreI've come here twice before and had no issues but after today i wont be back. I sat down at my table and ordered on my phone. They didn't have what I ordered so instead of telling me or asking if I had any allergies to the food they went ahead and made something completely different. Granted the lady was nice about it when she brought it to me but when I ordered something to replace the first order, I waited patiently for almost an hour as multiple tables got their food. Mind you, my replacement meal was cheaper than the original. I also noticed once the kitchen rush was done and all the tables had their food (I was still waiting for my burger) the kitchen staff were standing having a chat. The manager noticed my frustration and went to the kitchen to ask about the burger im guessing but I had already had enough because my family who bought the food 10 minutes after me were almost done their meals and I asked for a refund to which they refused because they were 'already making the burger' 40 minutes after ordering it.
Firstly, if you are out of stock go to the customer at tell them. Offer a replacement or a refund. (I was offered a smoothie as a replacement on a $22 meal. Secondly, if you as a café have failed to provide the original order or replacement in a reasonable time then you as a restaurant should understand the frustration of the customer and give a refund. Read moretoday i went to the coffee club not the pop up but the actual cafe. i went with my nan. we got some food which was great but there was a slight issue. my nan ordered a coffee which she said it was beautiful and i ordered an iced caramel. i specifically asked for the iced caramel not the caramel latte frappe. as soon as my iced caramel was served to me, i noticed it’s colour seemed a lot darker than usual. i had a sip and immediately tasted coffee. i however cannot drink coffee as i cannot have it in my system. i told them that as i returned it and they just pumped more of the caramel syrup as they could not be bothered to make another one. i kept telling them i cannot have coffee in it. the lady just kept taking it back and pumping more of the syrup and tried to continue serving me the same drink. i then just ordered an iced chocolate as i thought there was no point trying to explain a simple drink to someone. i understand sometimes it’s hard but they had an iced caramel on the menu and there was no...
