If you’re hunting for a must-try Asian fusion spot, @thecoffeeologistcafe at @sanctuarylakesshoppingcentre in Point Cook is the one. You can’t miss it — just look for the line of cars patiently queuing for their takeaway coffees. What We Tried & Loved: ✨️Creamy Tom Yum Seafood Pasta – Highly recommended! The aroma hits you the moment it’s served. Perfectly balanced flavours, with mussels the size of my finger and big, juicy prawns. ✨️Grilled Salmon – Crispy skin, perfectly cooked, and paired with a creamy sauce so good I cleaned the plate with sourdough. 👍🏻Chili Prawn Scrambled – A spicy, flavour-packed brunch winner. Latte Ice matcha latte Ice chocolate Babycino The café has an inviting vibe, spacious interiors, and is totally family-friendly with amazing service. Bonus points? They serve the biggest babycino I’ve ever seen — my son was absolutely over the moon! The Coffeeologist Cafe ticks all the boxes — top-notch coffee, hearty brunch dishes, and no weekend surcharge. Whether you’re enjoying some solo time with a good book or sharing breakfast with friends, it’s the kind of café you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

*GAME LIFTED* Locally I haven’t popped into these guys for a little while, was pleasantly pleased!! The menu offers great variety including regular favourites expected in a top quality cafe, this has been well curated since my last visit and it was nice to have some delicious specials options! I ordered the Cheesy Corn Chowder Soup and Toast ($12) along with an oat latte, and these guys nailed it!! The Soup was tasty, well presented and I especially liked that it wasn’t overdone with cheese and had some delightful leek strips incorporated into the mix. Awesome service. Well done guys! Will be coming back soon :D

Slowwwwwwwwwwww service today. Long queue that's not moving. Hasn't moved for maybe 5 minutes or more. Finally they're sending someone out to the car to take orders. It's clogging up the whole car park. Too bad if people need to get out! Muffins are good though. They only have 1 left though by 9.50am 🤦‍♂️ not the flavour I was after either. Literally took 13 minutes to wait in the car to get a muffin. Once I got to the window, it was probably 2 minutes before I was acknowledged, then they tried to give me coffees I didn't order 🤦‍♂️

Disheartened at the experience I’ve had today at this cafe! I am very patient and understanding when it comes to hospitality when it’s very busy and I understand that the wait may be some time- but today we walked in, it was quiet and we fully got ignored. Four new customers who walked in after us had their orders taken and cutlery set and the tenant (asian male) continued to walk back to the teller even when another staff member had indicated that he take our order. Fully disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this cafe at all if you are looking at finding somewhere that is fully welcoming. It’s a shame as my sister and I love cafe visits and we usually go all out when we do! To the...

Walked in and was greeted, but then not asked if I wanted to dine in or take away. I then took a seat and waited for over 5 minutes before anyone came up to the table (guy behind counter not floor staff) Ordered coffees, and when we got our coffees I asked if we could order food. His response was yes ofc and then he walked off and started standing next to the coffee machine. I don't know if I was meant to order at the counter but the staff didn't seem able to communicate that if that was the case. Had time to finish coffees and still not have someone come take our food order. Never got to try the food, probs won't try the place again until your stuff are trained better. Coffees we had...
