The Hoppers Club — Restaurant in Melbourne

New member, staff and service was great, the food was mostly delicious- we had the chicken and corn soup which we found quite tasteless, my partner had the chicken Parma which was quite a large meal and he raved about it, I had the calamari salad, the calamari melted in my mouth , cooked to perfection. A couple of negatives other than the food is a) the chairs are up too high or the tables are too low either way it felt like a child's seating and looking around at the other diners no-one looked particularly comfy in their seat. B) we purchased members cards and it was only while having our lunch that it dawned on us that we would never be at the club without one another and so only one card was needed, when we approached the staff member at the front desk and mentioned this she politely informed us that she was unable to do anything about it even though we had only just bought them. It doesn't make any sense to us and is very disappointing because that other card will just never be used and we have wasted $10. We will visit again we enjoyed our lunch and the club...

We dont live in Hopper Crossing but friends do , We have been to the club a few times and it was o k but the last time we went all was not o k My wife and i are retired and aged pensioners After being seated and looking at the menu my wife and i decided to have the seniors meal ,I went to the bar to order our meals only to be told seniors meals we're not available that night but on the menu it said in small print seniors meals available Monday-Friday ( cant remember the exact days ) then the waitress said it was only available on those 2 days even the waitress said is was confusing So i ordered from the ala carte menu I told the waitress i only wanted veg and no chips She told me i had to have wat the menu said and it could not be changed After the meal that was o k went to the the bar and played the pokies and ordered a coffee it was the worst coffee i have ever had when i complained i was told the coffee machine was not working properly ,The point i am trying to make is just because i am old and a pensioner who has grandchildren and great grandchildren I am...

My partner and I have been coming here for many years and ordering take away, I have to say tonight will be our last night ordering take away from the hoppersclub. Everytime we order meals there is always something missing .tonight our salads were missing and this is like the 10th time that food is missing When my partner went and picked up the food there was another customer complaing that there burger was missing. The lady said the kitchen was closed. How can that be if the restaurant is full of customers. Staff don't know what there doing . The customer paid for 2 burgers and only got one. And everytime we go in for take out we have food missing always. I have always supported local. But this is becoming a joke now. Staff don't seem to care or the chefs. This comes down to poor management too. We always have family dinner's at the hoppersclub and this will not be happening anymore. We will be going eles were on our family...
