🥩 Angus Brisket 🦑 Cured Salmon, Grilled Squid 🐙 Octopus Skewers 🦐 Grilled Skull Island Prawns, Rosemary Ciabatta 🐑 Lamb Ribs 🥩 Wagyu Hanger Steak Skewer 🍚 Brazilian Wild Rice 🍃 Smoked Beetroot 🍩 Smoked Yogurt Cheesecake, Doughnut
The Que Club is Australia’s first BBQ retail store with its own restaurant, bar and cooking school! Everyone here lives and breathes BBQ, with a multicultural team which emanates through to a clever, well thought out menu where everything has been touched by smoke or fire. 🔥
They haven’t limited themselves to just one cuisine, so they’re not to be compared to American BBQ restaurants. With a strong focus on quality and sustainability they make their own in house sodas which are DELISH (and can be made boozy 😉). An entire Vegatarian/Vegan menu is available so everyone is included.
First cab off the rank was a Chilli Margarita, rimmed with with salt and Aleppo Pepper and infused with chilli oil this was the real deal. The Salmon and Squid dish was amazing, packed smokiness and flavour. Octopus and olive is a heavenly combo, it was so tender from being boiled then grilled. The Prawns were bathed in a delicious, bacon XO sauce. 🤤
The Lamb Ribs had me drooling, charred and coming clean off the bone. The Wagyu Skewers were marinated in a Black Bean sauce which could have been less to highlight the beef more, although delicious. The Brisket was perfect, moist yet still with some bite and an incredible crust. Don’t overlook the sides, especially the Brazilian Wild Rice (aka ‘Crack Rice’) and leave room for dessert.
Each week they run intimate, hands on cooking classes on site which cater to all skill levels, as well as Female Only classes. They regularly host events collaborating with local breweries, distilleries and wineries to create exclusive paired food and beverages menus. Tickets to these classes and events can be booked online and actually make great gifts!!👩🏽🍳
My visit here exceeded my expectations and have placed themselves at the top of my favourite BBQ spots in Melbourne thus far. I couldn’t even pick a favourite dish, that’s exciting for me.

Read moreWe recently purchased a bbq - close to 3.5k. The sales assistant talked us through in detail what we would be receiving and the price for the package. We left the store very excited to receive our delivery in a few days time.
We checked the website when we got home to read more about our new bbq, we then realised that the price was different and that we had actually been undercharged for what we had purchased. We rang the Que Club to notify them that afternoon, they acknowledged the error but assured us that the error was on them and as a sign of good faith we would continue to get the product package that we had discussed.
Unfortunately, mismanagement and miscommunication ensued - we received part of the product (but not all) with the Que club deciding to omit certain inclusions that were actually things that should been included in the package. The frustrating part of this is that we have never had this communicated to us, the product delivery arrived missing components and when we rung up we were assured this was going to be delivered separately. It only become apparent later on when following up that a decision had been made that due to us being undercharged, these items were thus being withheld as a way for Que Club to recoup their cost. Absolutely no communication about this occurred.
This even includes removing the cooking class voucher which was a specific seperate item on the invoice! Again, there was actually no discussion about this, we only discovered it when visiting the store again today to buy some wood chips and assorted items and being told that the voucher had been scratched.
We were excited to support a small local business but unfortunately have lost confidence in doing so. The original error was not ours, we rang immediately to notify them and clarify with them, and have had continual miscommunication since. Significant process improvements are required regarding customer communication and customer service.
We will be taking our future...
Read moreI would like to thank both Luci & Dom who were the "Expert Guides" through my 'Traeger 101' Training Course at the Cue Club in Brunswick East last night, which was an added bonus to my Traeger Pro 575 purchase at the Que Club at their Traeger Day back in June 2021.
It had taken me a number of times to finally book in for this course, mainly due to all the Covid-19 Lockdowns, but the wait probably added to the excitement!
After around 2 hours of expert tips and hands on experience with a number of items that you can pop into the Traeger (including a cheesecake......yes, you heard me correctly), all the participants were able to sample the items that we cooked which included bone marrow and prawn toast, smoked pumpkin pieces, smoked chicken wings, brisket (which was unbelievable) an a Smoky Oreo Cheesecake (that blew my mind!).
The training was fantastic, the food brilliant and the company of the trainers and the other 'classmates' made this a brilliant way to spend a Wednesday Evening.
If you get the opportunity to attend this course to build your smoking meat (and other proteins) skills, then I can truly say that the cost of $150 is a bargain for the skills you pick up and the meal that you help prepare.
Well Done Que Club.....We...
