On behalf of my friend/godfather Peter Smith and myself, we both thank Red Balloon Cafe boss Angela and her employees for all top notch food and top notch service they provided both of us today, we both tremendously appreciate all of it!
Peter, his wife and I thank Angela and her employees for going above and beyond in regards the food Peter purchased for us the absolute BEST in terms to taste and presentation, and Peter is so grateful too for how over these 10+ years, Angela and her mum the previous boss and their employees have built up customer relationships with him and their other customers, and we tremendously appreciate that because to us, both food and service are equally important...and that makes the roast pork sandwich I had from Red Balloon Cafe second to none (thanks a lot to Peter for shouting me it, I'm so grateful).
Angela herself made my roast pork sandwich, slicing up the pork itself with surgical precision, and placing the perfect amounts of pork, pork brine juiced, apple sauce and gravy in-between to slices of buttered bread, wrapping it all so nicely.
Angela's roast pork sandwich had the absolute BEST roast pork in it and it is both the absolute BEST sandwich AND absolutely BEST roast pork sandwich I ever had...especially because if the pork and beautiful pork juice brine the bread soaks up, it is the roast pork equivalent to those American roast beef sandwiches I see on TV.
So juicy, so tender and exploding with flavour that roast pork sandwich was and on top of all that Angela included with it a generous piece of pork cracking with such a beautiful loud crunch and golden brown colour and pork flavour as melt in your mouth as the pork itself. Every element of that pork sandwich complimented each other! How appropriate I had it today on the King's Birthday because it truly was a roast pork sandwich fit for a KING - and so is ALL the food at Red Balloon Cafe - thank you so much again to Angela and her employees, Peter and I definitely very high recommended Red Balloon Cafe for both the food and service and next time we visit, definitely trying the lasagna, I look forward to is as much as I do the roast pork sandwich I enjoy so very much!
EDIT: Three days later today on Thursday June 13th, my friend/godfather Peter Smith took me to Red Balloon cafe at Parkmore in Keysborough again and YES this time I had their lasagna (it was specifically a beef lasagna) and it 100% lived up to its reputation as the absolute BEST lasagna you could ever have! THANK YOU so much to the employee serving us - so sorry to her and Red Balloon I must remember her name - for the top notch service and thank you so much for the staff behind the kitchen serving us too, both Peter and I are so grateful!
Thanks a lot to Peter for shouting me the lasagna in addition to buying another portion of it plus a Thai Red Curry from Red Balloon! That curry smelt absolutely deliciously authentic and although it was Peter's wife who will eat it, indeed it will taste as amazing as it smells! I was so excited for the lasage and when I had it after being served it, I must say it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Especially after watching the Garfield movie last Sunday in the city, I was longing for lasagna afterwards but it is a bit of a long story why I couldn't...so to finally be able to hahe Red Balloon's lasagna, I was overjoyed, it was PURR-fect if you pardon the pun, and I look forward to telling as many people about it, including on Facebook (where I posted about the aforementioned pork sandwich too)!
Thank you so much again to Red Balloon including the girl who served us and all the staff members both her and them deserved every acknowledgement for their top notch service and top notch food including their top notch lasagna, so grateful to them and so grateful to Angela too for her role as we as manager of all of it, thanks a lot to her too! Peter and I can't wait to...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at the Red Balloon Cafe in Parkmore Shopping Centre recently and was very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
I started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes were perfectly ripe and the basil was fragrant. For my main course, I had the chicken schnitzel, which was cooked to perfection. The breading was crispy and the chicken was juicy and tender. I also enjoyed the accompanying salad and chips.
For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse, which was rich and decadent. It was the perfect way to end my meal.
The service at the Red Balloon Cafe was excellent. My server was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that I had everything I needed. He was also knowledgeable about the menu and was able to offer good recommendations.
The atmosphere at the Red Balloon Cafe is warm and inviting. The restaurant is decorated in a modern style with a touch of whimsy. The tables are well-spaced and the lighting is subdued, creating a relaxed and comfortable dining experience.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Red Balloon Cafe. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a friendly and welcoming environment.
I would give the Red Balloon Cafe a rating of 4...
