šŸ“Too Good Bakers, Aberfeldie

I absolutely love Too Good Bakers, it is one of my local gems.

Here is the prosciutto baguette (~$15). It has delicious fior di latte cheese in there, spinach, and a really yum aioli. The baguette itself is crispy, which I love. The prosciutto was cut a bit thick for my liking, which I haven’t had happen before, so may have just been an off day. I will say, I prefer the spicy salami baguette and the tomato, mozzarella and pesto baguette is also delicious.

Too Good Bakers is also home to the world’s best choc almond croissant (as crowned by Broadsheet maybe), but I will concur that it is bloody delicious.

They also have little pizzas, pies, and an array of delicious pastries and sweets.

Overall 4.2...

They have the friendliest staff, so accommodating despite it’s a rush hour for lunch. Came here at 1230 and there’s already a queue. The tables were packed too, good thing I was able to secure one table to eat in. Been craving for Cinammon Roll for a while now, I haven’t seen it at other cafes, I was quite lucky today coz they have it. They have an array of sweet and savoury treats and I’m confused what more to order. Well, I’ll be back for more soon though.

I love their Cinnamon Scroll. Not too sweet and lotsa cinnamon which I...

The food/coffee is mostly delicious the pastries are YUM!! However every single time I go in there is no organisation with the staff. No smiles, no welcomes! They seem very un interested in being there. And multiple times my food has been burnt while being heated up, then asked if this is ok? Surely you should know it’s not ok, don’t put the customer in the uncomfortable position of telling you no it’s not. I keep going back because it has all the things that could make it an amazing spot but the staff out the front really...

Came here at the suggestion of my BIL. We are so glad we took his advice. I started with the spicy beef & jalepeno pie. I wouldn't call this spicy, but it had some warmth, definite jalepenp flavour & big chunks of beef. Very enjoyable! Then we had a lemon meringue, & jam donut. Both were incredible! Staff were polite, knowledgeable & attentive. Great atmosphere in the shop & plenty of local customers - a testament to the quality & popularity of this bakery. We will be back.

Such great food, coffee and all round delicious. Service is okay. No major issues but they use wooden cutlery. It's my biggest complaint. Everything else is amazing but I've broken my wooden knives a few times trying to cut things. Please get cutlery! 😬 I know it's a little petty and might be environmentally friendly but it ruins the experience.. and that wooden mouth feel šŸ˜ž I still go back for take away when I can though. Like I said. Amazing otherwise.
