the food was so bad. I got takeaway which was $18, whereas dine in was $20 - because I got takeaway I didn’t get any rice and apparently only got 1 dip instead of 2, which is what the server told me but they didn’t display this anywhere on their board- there was only something saying I couldn’t get rice. Once I opened it there were NO dolmas (even though there was meant to be). The falafels were half black inside and as hard as rocks. The bread was so stale I could hardly chew it. All over a really bad experience, the staff were really rude and the food was so bad, they forgot stuff and I missed out on half the other because I didn’t dine in (which is an extra $2)

An epic fight on twitter broke out about the first Aussie meal you MUST try when you come to Melbourne. The debate raged for days over HSP v the Bunnings Sausage- but the HSP faction won the argument. My first Halal Snack Pack didn’t disappoint! Kebab meat on a bed of chips and a solid layer of cheese. And the sauces! Make sure you get the trinity of garlic sauce, bbq sauce AND chilli sauce. Amazing. HSP is what you MUST try in Melbourne.

I tried lamb HSP in this restaurant for the first time and I didn’t have good experience. Chips were soggy and I felt as if I am eating mashed potatoes. Water and oil sat at the bottom of container, you may be able to see in the photo. Lamb was also tasteless. Displayed price of HSP was $16.90 but I was charged $17.20. Overall it was bad experience and complete waste of my money. Not recommend.

Hello Dear Friends;

Occasionally, a person comes across a life-changing moment. Maybe it's a glittering sunset, the glistening water overlooking the bay, the touch of a loved one, or something as banal as cuddling your dog.

Sometimes, a regular experience strikes your soul differently.

Today, I received an UberEats order from your store, and by jove, it was one of these experiences. Firstly, hats off to the bicycle rider, 2.5 kilometres with a stop of the way; yet my meal was piping hot. Min Kyaw, you're a Tour de France rider in the making.

Now to the meal. I've eaten at Osteria Francescana. L'Osteria won the Best Restaurant in the World in 2016 and 2018. The creations of Massimo Bottura pales in comparison to your HSP.

The experience of your HSP was akin to rapture. What it means to feel true pleasure. A transporting experience. A moment, we all live for. The world of delivery cuisine was black and white, and now, I see the colour in the art form you produce. You fix my soul to the enjoyment of being, I am content with myself, and have no desire to extend. This is a rarified feeling you have evoked and one, that all diners should experience.

Not everyone can be a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. These artists, come from Clarendon Street, South Melbourne.

I eagerly await my next meal.

Thank you...

"Service" indeed. I'd never been yelled at by a restaurant owner before this. And entire conflict was over $28. Food took over two hours to arrive. We got annoyed that it was delayed and we hadn't been notified. When the driver finally came (over half an hour later than the quoted delivery time), we asked him to take the food back and asked for a refund. He gave us our money back and insisted on us taking the food. Around 15 mins later (around 9.40pm), we received a phone call from the restaurant owner. He clearly wasn't happy about the driver giving us the money back, so instead of resolving his issues with his employee, he decided to take out his anger on us, the customers, instead. He yelled like a demented, crazy psychopath over $28. Will not be ordering from this place again. The owner clearly doesn't understand the concept of 'hospitality' and shouldn't be in...
