Very small shopping centre located in St Melbourne & easily accessible by tram, & with a large number of underground parking spaces with free parking for the first hour. The centre has a small number of shops within, the largest being Coles, as well as a bottle shop, pharmacy, tattslotto stall & a phone repair place. There is also a doctors surgery which has opened fairly recently. Public toilets are also available within the centre & everything is wheelchair accessible.
The biggest downfall off the centre in my opinion is the security staff. Although they are just doing their job, they always appear to be closely following one or two people. Numerous times I have seen them approach people after keeping a very close eye on their movements, & ask to search their bags & question them. Clearly you can see the frustration in these people as the cooperate with the security personnel, & everytime i have been witnessing these interactions nothing appears to have been found on the shopper & security have dismissed them. I understand this is securitt doing their job but more than once as I have been leaving I have heard shoppers make statements along the lines of feeling as if they are being targeted unfairly by these security regularly, & that they feel it is bordering on harassment. I can understand their frustration & the discomfort this can create when they are shopping, but apart from what looks to be harassing treatment it's also the fact that it is evident to other shoppers what is going on that i have an issue with. This to me is very unprofessional & could he handle a lot better & it's because of this that i only score them a mid...

They dropped the charges but just be careful in regards to strangers who use you or abuse you or both or just make the area less happy and less glad. We all need to make a difference now. But yeh the city...

All tobacco is stupid expensive now, but trust me, these guys do their best, with a smile: makes the bitter pill bit easier to swallow. Thanks guys!! There's other shops there too. Great. I think the public toilets are more useful: they've even got a disabled-person one with electric door, works pretty well. The rest are upstairs, but very well kept,...
