Two Franks — Restaurant in Melbourne

This place popped up on my Instagram and I really liked the backstory, so I decided to pay it a visit today for the first time as it's local to me. I'm not only impressed by the coffee and the delicious chicken sandwich, but the level of customer service that was given. An accident happened with my order and it got lost, which can happen but I ended up waiting a long time. When it was acknowledged it was immediately rectified without hesitation and I left impressed with the owner's quick resolution and attention to it without making any excuses. Mistakes happen and I've found my experience today to restore a bit of hope in Melbourne hospitality as the way it was handled was professional unlike other establishments I've been to. Absolutely LOVE this cafe addition to our community! I get my coffee here every day and it is 10/10 100% of the time. The staff are always wonderful and friendly. The owners are born and bred in Coburg and you can tell they pour their heart and soul into the business - they are invested in giving their clients the best service. They get up super early to drive all over town to source the best and fresh foods. Love the spanakopita and mushroom and leak pie. YUM! A nice little Coffee shop, takes me back to when I was a kid growing up in the 90’s. has that old school milk bar vibe with the shelves stocked with candy chocolate etc. love the fresh pastry’s and the coffee here is really good as I’m a fussy coffee drinker. Wish they had some outdoor sitting. The only thing I think they should change is the cardboard lid of the coffee cup, leaves a cardboard taste in your mouth and ruins the taste of coffee. I think the plastic lid is better.
