I’ve tried grilled lemongrass pork bánh mì and spring rolls at many Vietnamese places, but I was genuinely surprised by this small newly opened shop in Mentone. The flavors are truly special – they reminded me of the traditional taste I had in Vietnam a year ago.

The grilled pork is tender, fragrant with lemongrass, and the dipping sauce is absolutely delicious.

I was invited to try their Vietnamese salted coffee – and wow, it was amazing!

Now after every work shift, I actually look forward to lunch just to come back here and enjoy real Vietnamese food.

Prices are affordable, the place is spotless even in hidden corners, and the staff are always friendly and happy to offer extra sauce when I ask.

I’ve grown up eating Vietnamese food all around Melbourne and my sister in law makes home made Pho and Bon Bo Hue passed down through generations… yet this is one of the BEST LITTLE GEMS I’ve come across (yes, even outside of Springvale and Richmond) with each dish serving a generous amount with its own unique flavours giving you a big homey hug. The service is so nice and warm being a family owned restaurant 🤗
