My wife and two kids 3 and 9 months were on our way for breakfast, we arrived at the Wild Wombat cafe to see that it was maybe still closed, we called to see if they were open and the lady said they open at 8:30am even though online says 7am, thats fine, the lady had said we can sit and have a coffee prior. It was 8:15, we happily sat for 10minutes in the car then got the kids out of the car to make our way to the WILD Cafe, my daughters was excited for a Baby Chino. On arrival the lady which i believe is the owner greeted us with a flat looking face then asked if we had called prior which we said we did. She started shaking her head at us in anger whilst walking of telling us where our table was.
I know we came early, although you greeted us over the phone to come in, we arrived with our two young kids and you shook your head at us before even entering the door, shame on you to even have a business to greet a family the way you did, my daughter kept asking for a Baby Chino whilst we walked of.

My partner had cevapci, which allegedly is made according to an old family recipe, but in reality was unseasoned and dry, and served with minute portions of onion and tzatziki. You would think onion is a precious resource to see the paltry size of the serving. Long black not...

You could almost missed it. But don’t! Do not judge a book by its cover so to speak.
Ange is an amazing cook plus so kind and accommodating. Kitchen was closed just after 2.30pm, but Ange just asked what I would like and she would provided. Up the road on St Andrew’s side is a cafe said kitchen was closed. Not asking the cook if they could give me lunch. Just offered me cake and coffee. It was on 2.40pm.
So further up the road… Wild Wombat cafe.
I had a magnificent Chicken, Mushroom crepe with a lovely Chardonnay. Plus a latte. 5 star food with 5 star service. Real service and care still is out there. Not just on the...
