I've been coming here since around 2010, regularly, and I'll admit the service most of the time absolutely sucks. Every time I go in it's like I'm a customer for the first time again. The dumplings are always fantastic and their spring onion pancake is awesome, it's easily the best local dumpling place!! If it wasn't for the awesome food, I'd of stopped going a while ago 😂 They're not the friendliest bunch, and asking for 15 dumplings instead of 10 will be met with heavy resistance like you're asking an impossible favor. Which, that sort of thing as a regular all these years should be fine right? It's something we've grown to find quote comical, the way a dish might just be tossed onto the table or recieving such a stern no trying to slightly change the menu 😂😂 I've brought all my family and friends here... So many times it would make me sick to see the grand total of dumplings I'd ever eaten. But hey the foods...
Read moreOMG the Boss-lady is the Asian version of Seinfeld's "soup Nazi". That woman is probably 100 years old, but looks 40 because she has never used the facial muscles needed to form a smile. Went there on Sunday after a long absence, but never again. The beef dumplings were burnt black on the bottom and all you could taste was charcoal. The sweet and sour fried pork consisted of lumps of disgusting gristle covered in batter. Not just one or two pieces of gristle, at least half the serve was disgusting, unchewable crap. Thought the seafood noodles and dried beef noodles were quite nice, but one hour later my husband and I were so thirsty we felt like we had been lost in the desert with 50 degree temperatures and no water available. Thought you weren't allowed to use MSG these days, but these guys must have an enormous supply of it hidden in a back room, which they use liberally in the meals. Let me repeat ,...
Read moreThis is the most horrid restaurant we have ever been to. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, amongst other things, and there were two identical bottles on the table with thick brown fluid. We chose the wrong one - balsamic vinegar instead of soy sauce. We asked for the plate to be replaced as none of the two bottles were labelled. "It’s not my fault you did not ask me which one is the soy sauce and you cannot tell the difference". Not only did they refuse to replace it or remove it off our bill as a gesture, but they sniggered about it behind the counter. PR rating 0. Quality of food - average. Friendliness of staff minus -10. Do not attempt to try it. The quality of the food never makes up for rude staff. I am so disappointed that despite our appeals for common sense it was not only denied but laughed at in Chinese in...
