Something needs fixing. PSK has been our go to for b’fast and coffee when staying in Dromana several times a year since it opened. I have posted a positive review previously but haven’t been back since COVID restrictions. Have been in Dromana for the last two weeks and have tried the PSK to get coffee and b’fast most days. We have been sitting outside to minimize the COVID threat but that seems to be the forgotten service area. Over the last 2 weeks we have persisted with long waits for staff to approach us (one morning I sat, as the only customer outside, for around 10 mins before a girl stuck her head out of the door and asked if I wanted to order anything). Other mornings wrong coffee served, asked for sugar which isn’t provided on tables, only to have to go inside 5 mins later to get some before my coffee was cold. Today as I arrived, a table of 3 were getting up with one of them commenting “we’ve waited long enough”. I should have got the message, as I then sat for almost 20 mins outside without anyone approaching my table. There were a couple of other tables occupied outside and in that time one waiting staff member came to the door and handed a takeaway to a customer before going back inside. Ordered 2x salmon 1x steak sandwich and 1 couscous.

i really enjoyed the cous cous. its a great balance of flavour and the size was decent.

steak sandwich was a real big disappointment. I wouldn't usually complain or leave a bad review in general if it's just the taste. But I won't compromise for quality. the steak taste was good but they use really cheap and inedible meat. All the steak that's in the sandwich are the hard chewy tender. its almost impossible to chew and swallow it. if its just 1 or 2 pieces is still alright but this is for ALL of the pieces.

service prior to sitting down was really good. we were settled down in a reasonable good time eventhough they were busy. staff is really friendly. however they kept forgetting to bring the stuff we ordered ( 2 times). and the wait for the food was extremely long ( an hour plus).

coffee and chocolate was cold.

the poached egg for the salmon was way over cooked.

we had to sent back a few cups, cutlery and strainer as it's was oily and dirty.

overall, I would probably not go back again for the food. even though I really enjoyed the cous cous it's only 1 dish that's good.

Horrible food and dishes available! I order their tuna salad and not only was it not an even a salad but the tuna was served in big chunks which look like they microwaved on low. The description of the tuna was medium rare but when I got my salad it looked more medium alive. The tuna was cold on the inside and warm on the outside! My friend I was with ordered a egg and bacon roll, which there’s not much you can go wrong with it but they served it with a very nasty brown paste which ruined the entire flavour of it all! The food was close to uneatable and I was practically forcing myself to eat it. For the price of my tuna salad I was expecting more of a portion. Not only was it pricey it was also disgustingly unappetising. I looked over at the people dining next to us as they stood up to leave and they plates were barely touched as they walked out of the restaurant complaining about the food as well. I 10/10 would not recommend ordering off the menu at this place. As a 4.4 star restaurant I looked forward to an amazing dining experience but I was only met with disappointment and annoyance.
