Merimbula Pizza — Restaurant in Merimbula

During my visit to Merimbula Pizza, I had the opportunity to try their Capriccioso pizza in family size, which was exceptionally delicious. The pizza was topped with shredded ham and an abundance of crispy cheese on top, yet remained surprisingly juicy. The size of the pizza was more than sufficient; it fed two adults fully, with even leftovers for an additional meal. In this regard, Merimbula Pizza undoubtedly delivers both quality and quantity.

However, my experience with the ambiance and service at the pizzeria left somewhat mixed feelings. The staff appeared quite weary and disinterested, which somewhat diminished the overall visit experience. Additionally, the lack of indoor seating and only two outdoor tables, which are not protected in case of bad weather, limited the comfort of enjoying the pizza on-site. This could be quite impractical under certain circumstances.

Nonetheless, the availability of personal pickup and home delivery allows customers to enjoy Merimbula Pizza's excellent pizzas regardless of the weather conditions or personal preferences regarding the dining environment. This flexibility is a positive aspect that ensures you can still enjoy their delicious pizzas without being constrained to the physical location of the pizzeria.

Overall, while my experience with the ambiance and service left room for improvement, the quality and taste of the pizza undoubtedly stand out. For pizza lovers looking for a juicy and generous meal option, Merimbula Pizza certainly offers an attractive choice, especially if the priority is taste and quantity over ambiance...

Last few months since new owners took over have been a bit of a mixed review from me. 1st time was not good, sorry. 2nd & 3rd time were awesome!! 4th time good but a little disappointed with lack of attention to our order requests tonight: -Asked for a 8/10 level of chilli flakes on one pizza but it was more like a 12/10 haha. -One pizza was supposed to have no cheese due to intolerance but they did replace it and do a second delivery for it, so I was happy with that, was just frustrating to wait again but was worth the wait. Asked for a level 4/10 chilli flakes but this one had none :( (The cheese issue happens to us at nearly every pizza shop) BBQ chicken pizza was missing pineapple & that’s what makes it yummy :( but it was still great. When the man took my order, he did say he was finding it hard to hear me. I’d find it handy if the website, had an option where you could opt in for a ‘make your own pizza’ where you could just select toppings, for people with allergies, just so there’s no misunderstandings. The pizza bases are amazing! Sorry for long review but you guys are doing great & thank you for replacing the pizza. Just wanted to give a detailed, honest review, based on 4 orders over the last few months. I love that you kept the lounges out the back too, the kids love a fun night at Top Fun and then chilling in the back of the pizza shop having a pizza :) If you could work on the few toppings issues, I’ll change my review to a 5 star because you guys are making some nice pizza’s...

Way too expensive, dirty, slow. $25.50 for a large meat lovers, $22 for margarita. The pizza Bar is full of ingredients that's everywhere creating a mess and a fly over the ingredients. They push the ingredients that Falls on the pizza making bench back to the container after making the pizza to save on ingredients , fair enough, but the bent is dirty and get wiped with a dirty cloth so don't make a mess in the first place. I interned the Shop while no orders being prepared and no customer in the shop and ordered five large pizzas, they told me 20 minutes which i thought too Long as i used to make pizzas for eight years, waited 30 minutes then before they give me the order they noticed one missing, then they made it. The pizza doesn't look Nice...
