I've been going to Jimmy's for over 20yrs & I must say it's gone to the dogs. Before it burned down the food was awesome, couldn't fault it. NOW on the other hand, where do I begin, palace special fried rice, since when does it have bean sprouts & where are the peas, also why are there burn marks on every thing & it's now always cold & oily - some of the girls on the phone can be rather rude & ubrupt, waiting time is always longer than what you're told - the size of the meals for take away have shrunk but the prices have increased - come on Jimmy, lift your game & bring back the old...

Usually I would not complain about this place as usually its pretty great but last week I ordered my usual vegetarian fried rice only to be bitterly disappointed by only having carrots and small amounts of onion in it. It may of been just rice with flavor. No real vegetables to speak of and I only saw it after my 1 hour drive home. Very dissatisfied by this. Highly recommend Uncle Jimmy's Merredin Palace Restaurant. Food is pretty authentic, well-priced and delicious. The honey chicken and sweet and sour pork lunch specials are the best in my opinion. Service is also prompt and friendly.
