Moama Pizza — Restaurant in Moama

My husband and I were vacationing closeby and came here to get pizza for dinner. So this was what happened:

Me: We'd like to get the family sized Aussie Them: well you're too late, I'm already taken. All of us laugh - that was pretty funny. Then asked about crust preference etc. Now at this point, I'm holding my card out and didn't quite notice how they really only kept asking my husband the questions, even though I was the one ordering Them: heads to PC to type order in, looks right past me, towards my husband so what was your name Sir? husband n I looked at each other confused, but husband just awkwardly answered Them: That'd be x dollars, sir. Still looking past me Me: hands them my card for payment Them: takes it from me, gives it back after payment, and looks past me towards husband again thank you Sir! Will just be about x minutes....

With me, it's hard to say if "the problem" was my gender or my race (I'm not Caucasian like husband), but that was certainly weird and uncomfortable to be actively ignored when I was the one ordering and paying for it. I think it's important to mention this so people know that it's not ok.

Food wise, pizza was ok, not great but not bad. Thin crust was thicker than expected, there were a lot of toppings, so if you like quantity over quality, you'll appreciate the generous toppings. I had one slice and didn't feel like another. Other notes: take away only - no dine in tables, open late. So I'd give it a 3 for food,...

Tonight we ordered 4 pizzas 3 garlic breads and some bottles on Coke around 5:45pm for delivery. We were told it would be 45-60 minutes which would be perfect. 5 children starting getting hangry so we called at 7:10pm to confirm how long delivery was only to be told that our order was never taken as there was a malfunction with the printing machine. On the phone the owner I believe was apologetic and we were offered a speedy reorder and delivery. If it wasn’t for the fact we are visitors at a caravan park and had no other food tonight we wouldn’t but kids were hungry so we accepted. Delivery was fastracked and we are grateful for that but no discount or freebie. Luckily not local so we won’t be going back. Just be careful if your delivery is late. As might not of...

My family and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Moama Pizza. We've eaten here numerous times - and will usually choose different selections. And it always beats every other meal in town hands-down.

The warm-chicken salad is large. Chicken is cooked perfect and is healthy as well as delicious.

The American/USA salami pizza... is so perfect. My wife is American and she loves her pepperoni placed over the top of the cheese to give it that nice crisp. We asked for the adjustments... and they were not only more than willing... but it was cooked to perfection.

The Garlic Bread will melt in your mouth. It was scrumptious. The House Special is packed filled with goodness.
